In response to why I only gave one star.. I purchased an band/stamp( cant remember which but it was an all day pass) for my daughter for the day because I was not able to get to the fair until about 6pm. She was supposed to be able to reenter the fair with the stamp/band. There were only 2 lines going into the fair.. my daughter had come out to meet me at about 6:30 ( I had been there for about 30 minutes already) and waited with me for a few mintues. I knew I was going to be in line for a while.. boy was I right.. first they didnt let my daughter back in.. she was told she has to wait back in line.. in the meantime.. I cant even count how many ppl just cut the line and were let through.. after an hour of barely moving because of that.. I spoke to security that was lined up.. they did nothing.. another hour later this is still going on ..ppl just walking past the lines.. getting in line closer to the front or just walking back in.. I spoke to security...again... still nothing... now it's over 2 hours.. my daughter is missing out on time with her friends and I'm wanting to get the heck out of line.. security finally stated keeping ppl in line.. even with that it was still almost another full hour to get my ticket which wasnt even a reduced price after 9 pm.. and my daughter finally got back in. Which she should have been able to do because they saw her band/Stamp or whatever the heck it was and told her just go on in.. almost 3 hours later after telling her she had to wait in the line again.. and it's worth mentioning.. these ppl who were cutting the line.. literally hundreds.. had no stamp/band. Several other ppl in the line with me were checking as well. It was poorly coordinated and I was so aggravated by the time I got in.. all I managed to enjoy was seeing my daughters artwork that was on display and had won awards. There was no supervision over what was happening and everyone I tried to get help from was rude and disinterested in trying to help. There had to have been...
Read moreMy overall experience was ok. Due to cold weather, I didn't go on any rides, I was mostly there for sight seeing. The game prizes were not very appealing to me, however, I did end up winning a white tiger plushy since tigers are one the things I found interesting. I mostly walked around, bought foods and went to the restroom.
The rodeo and the fair are often done at the same time, due to this, the traffic going to both events becomes chaotic, and parking spaces become hard to find, to make things worse, the parking areas themselves don't have enough signage to indicate the exact space or row that you've parked in.
Another thing I didn't like, was the animal droppings, there was a lot of droppings left on the ground in the parking areas, there should have been someone or group of people, task with cleaning up the droppings outside, during the fair and rodeo, not only do people have to worry about stepping in them, but they also have to worry about the smell.
Had the weather been warmer and the animal droppings cleaned up, I would have enjoyed my time...
Read moreI’ve loved going to the fair every year but this year was sadly (atleast the night I went) was terrible. Me and my friends took off work for their birthday to celebrate it and go to the fair. We showed up around 8:30, we didn’t get in until around 9-9:30 knowing it was open late and we walked around and got wristbands, all of the lines were extremely long which I understand due to the Kissimmee area increasing in population. We decided we were going to wait for it to slow down after the kids hit their bedtimes to get on any rides. After not even just walking around half of it there was a fight and they shut the entire fair down. With their no refund or rain check policy we couldn’t come back at another time which was sad since we weren’t even there long enough to do anything due to the fight. Even if we had decided to sit and wait in lines we still would have maybe ride just one before we were forced to leave. I’ve loved going every year since I was a kid but this year...
