I just left your store and from what I could gather the woman next to me was a recent window who was returning some clothes never worn by her late husband when she started to cry. Your clerk acted quickly and swiftly and came around from behind the counter and gave the woman a giant hug. The two of them hugged for a minute and when I left your clerk was beginning to cry with the woman. A response like your employees cannot be trained or taught, her reaction was genuine and caring. I just wanted to bring this to your management teams attention as no manager was present but you should all be very proud of how well your employee handled the situation. Many people would freeze in that position and not know how to respond making the widow feel even worse. Your employee could not have handled it better and deserves an accommodation. I am definitely a fan of the J Crew brand however the outlet stores can lead to some disappointing/frustrating shopping trips. As we all know outlets stores don't generally carry the same merchandise as the regular retail locations. in fact most actually produce merchandise for this division of their brand. I still find quality there and of course the J crew style but this is how they get their lower price points which I don't consider are really that low. The better deals always are available in large amounts of XS and XXL with no in between sizes. Frustrating to say the least. To the girl working in the dressing room with the wildly ridiculous hair color that is also faded: being snooty because I was courteous enough to offer how many clothing items I was carrying is unacceptable. “We don’t count here.” Good for you and the little factory store you work at that you are above counting articles of clothing! I understand you are working for minimum wage in THIS economy, but don’t take it out on me.
