Woodland Farms Brewery in Kittery, ME for a flight & a couple pints on a Wednesday afternoon. The last time I was here was late 2021 so it was definitely cool to make my way back. I've previously discussed what a great three piece brewery hub Kittery, Maine is in previous write-ups, each offering something similar, but different. Woodland Farms Brewery had a handful of different styles including porters, IPAs, stouts, lagers, sours & more available this trip. There American IPA MARS NEEDS LUPULIN was one of my favorites to scoop from my local beer store, along with there bomb porter BIG 'EFFIN PORTER. This trip I got to try six new beers I hadn't drank yet. š»š„āšŗ
I started off with a pint of the CELLAR DWELLER KELLER LAGER Kellerbier which was excellent for sure & a perfect light beer to begin with. The second pour I scooped was a pint of the SWIFT RIVER COFFEE PORTER which was f&%king delicious with coffee up front & a slight maple finish. I grabbed a flight next to finish the trip which included a excellent MUNICH-STYLE DUNKEL Lager that hit hard & a fantastic CUVEE SPRUCE Sour that was better than I thought it would be with a f&%k ton of flavor. š»š„š„µā
The taproom itself isn't to big, but has all the usual seating options with hightops, tables, bar & outdoor patio seating during warmer seasons. Theres a lot to look at inside which I always appreciate & helps make it more memorable. The bartender & tasting room manager Mike was super cool & helpful & had his own plaque on the wall explaining his passion for beer & more. There was a decent alcohol selection on top of the beer & cans to go for home & tastings. Great visit & time, I'm sure I'll be back eventually since I'm loving living near the seacoast & close to the Maine border. š»š»š„āāā„ļøšŗ

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going here since WFB's opening a few years ago and there is no brewery quite like it.. Rowan, owner and brewer, is not the only one with a passion for beer. Each and every one of his staff have touched the process and know the ins-and-outs of every brew that hits the tap. Everyone who walks in the door is treated like family; you can walk in, sit down, and feel as comfortable as in your own living room.
For a small place, they have big promise. Seating inside and out. Games. Live music (sometimes by the staff, and they rock). Awesome merch. Take-home brews.. They have always had something for everyone on tap.. Never seen a disappointed face. I have many favorite beers from this place.. all of them beat the competition by a landslide. If you love beer, this is the hidden gem you've been...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNonalcoholic beer. Seriously flavorful beer without alcohol!!! Woodland farms is or should be on your list if you are in the area and enjoy good beer We tried both their traditional beers IPA,ales, etc. as well as their nonalcoholic offerings. They are all good. And too our surprise the nonalcoholic beers (Iād never heard of a craft brewery offering such a thing) were as good and even better than those with alcohol. The atmosphere is fun, the artful display of their labels interesting, staff are laid back and uber-helpful and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating, nestled between the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant and a Starbucks, woodland Farms taproom is...
