I'm an avid gamer and TCG player, and I had heard that fans had opened a store because their old playin' place had shut down. I stopped by curious to see what they had created and was blown away by what was presented to me. First, they have a lot of games. I mean a lot. If you're looking for something to buy and take back for a game night, they have tons to offer. From all the hot little pocket card games to several versions of the top box games like Cataan, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, and D&D. Their TCG section is extensive with boosters for MTG going back a few years. Lorcana, the new Star Wars TCG, Pokemon, they carry a lot. Additionally, they have play areas. The Warhammer area is decked out, with a shelf of miniatures, walls, scenery, etc. for you to customize a battle. Then they have a huge game room with about 10 banquet sized tables and chairs for people to go head to head in a TCG. One thing I loved is that they have boxes and boxes of loose cards from most of the TCGs out there that you can sit and browse for hours. I was told that the most expensive usually cap around 75 cents. If I were local, I'd be hanging at this place all the time. Since I'm down here once a year, I'm definitely marking it as a favorite for both a resource if I need a game, or to drop by and play in one of their casual game nights. BTW, because of all the loose Pokemon cards in boxes to sift through, this would be a great place to bring the kids for 2 hours one day, let them go through a couple hundred cards, then buy a stack without...
Read moreWas there for the second time, previous time was also on vacation. Two times in 3 years, and each time is better than before. First time I grabbed some dice and something for my son and this time was the visit that will get me there each time I'm in the OBX. I forget his name, I think it's Chris, he is awesome. I was in to take a look at your 40k offerings, as we do on all our family vacations we go to the local stores. I'm into world eaters and was blown away from your inventory. The models are hard to find as it is but you had the Gorestorm box, I couldn't swing the pricing and was going to get something still but not the big box, I was gonna grab a slaughterbound and a box of eightbound instead but then Chris came in and changed the day, he worked on the price and I left with the box, I will always go to this store, I will always try to buy something anything and this is my game store when I'm in the area.
Ps I'm bringing 2k points...
Read moreStopped in while on vacation with the family, looking for new board or games to play. I didn't know they had just opened/renovated so they weren't fully stocked yet but definitely aren't lacking by any means! So if you visit later on I'm sure they will have an amazing selection. I stopped in twice because they said they may get another shipment in, both times the staff was friendly and helpful. The first day I found a new card game, Colorfox, and the next time I stopped in told them what a hit it was with the family. They said they are hoping to have a nice mix of family and travel friendly games as well as your tabletop/rpg games, so if you're a family on vacation like us looking for something fun...
