I was injured via a malfunctioning bumper car at this arena (August 2023); it spun out of control and would not turn off. the workers did not stop the equipment and my family had to use other cars to stop it. I nearly broke my leg (CORRECTION: i DID break my leg) and was just thankful it was me and not the young children in my family. The result could have been pretty catastrophic. They did not seem concerned at all when it happened, did not tell mgmt, and did not file an incident report. Im not even confident that they pulled the malfunctioning car off the floor. When i called to check in about it that night, i was told they'd call back. it took 2 more calls over 24 hrs to get a response and it had not been reported to the manager by the time i finally spoke to someone. I am in the process of getting medical care for an injured leg and they are not responding with the paperwork for me to get the care i need. Its been two weeks. The lack of safety protocols for this accident should be very concerning to anyone who goes here. Ice skating and roller skating with this kind of lack of attention to safety is absolutely not okay. I made an online registration to skate, then due to. Medical issue that would be unsafe for me to skate, seizures, I emailed and called multiple times and actually have a whole email thread from the supposed manager Bill, how he would forward to the correct department since he couldn’t do that. I get things take time, but that was in June. I have called and told he was out and he would get back to me, and never get a call back. Drove 7 hours to stay 3 nights at running Y ranch for Thanksgiving vacation. We paid for ice skating for the hours posted online to 11pm. We arrived at 8:20pm took 10 minutes plus to get skates along with a poor attitude from young lady working register and another 10 at least to put skates on my kids my wife and I. They shut rink down at 9pm. With no warning that rink would shut down shortly. Once closed at 9pm we were told that they never stay open past 9pm. Extremely poor customer service and false advertising hours of use. Its 2022 online hours are accurately posted on even the smallest of businesses.
