Running Y Golf Course --played the course three times over the weekend of July 18--20. Loved this challenging course but customer service is why I rated three stars. Beautiful mountains and lakes surround the well-kept course. Many birds to watch. Walking not recommended. Geofencing on the carts was not apparent on the screen like in other golf course carts that have geofencing to help to know when you are getting close to the cart shutting off. No signage about the leaving the restricted areas. Signage could have been larger for Hole #10 and cart return--signs were very low to the ground and sometimes knocked over. Not very impressed with the customer service at the Pro Shop--no ice in the coolers, had to ask for ice each day and employee was not too happy when asked. With temps in the high 90's --100's, golfers should not have to ask for ice in the cart coolers. On July 18th, there was a power outage at the resort from 3am to 4pm, the Pro Shop bathrooms were pitch black and the four employees behind the desk at the Pro Shop were not concerned with providing a light or flashlight for guests so they could use the restroom especially since they knew it would be some time for the power to be turned back on. In fact they said "they didn't have one" and went on talking with each other. I think they could have "found" a flashlight from one of their own cars or asked management to help. It was very apparent that the clothing in the Pro shop catered to mostly men, not much for ladies to buy. Could have been more customer-oriented in the Pro Shop, didn't...
Read moreNormally I enjoy this coarse that can be a little overpriced if you don't do a twilight time. The last time my brother was stung by a wasp or yellow jacket on the second hole. They were all over up and down the course at the time. Probably bad timing since a wee and a half later my uncle said he didn't notice any bees. It's a nice and challenging course especially when golfing mediocre lol and has a fun straight downhill hole. With only two other 18 hole courses in the area. I'm glad there's a third...
Read moreVery nice course. Greens were fantastic. Great value for the price of a round. 9th hole was super cool! Saw lots of other activities in the resort area we would have been interested in. They do have a spa attached to pro shop, so if you are visiting with any ladies or wives, that’s a good tip to know! (If they don’t want to golf of course) but the spa does need reservations in advance. Food truck out back of the pro shop had good food. Tater tots could use a little more TLC, but other than that...
