My wife and I just left this place, and spent over 40 dollars there looking for items for tonight's dinner. We are not residents that live there, we are just snowbirds passing through. We don't know the store. We asked the cashier where particular items were. The more we asked, the more irritated she seemed to get. Since there were no other customers in there, we were shocked at her behavior. In the end she showed her irritation by tossing my credit card across the counter without looking at me. We are in our 60's and have never had ANY service employee treat us in this way.    Read moreCame here when we were camping at Aspen Point and the nearby market didn't have meat for dinner. We first tried Odessa market but the guy was a dick and the place was dirty. But Running Y was super clean and has everything you need including a very large liquor selection and fresh produce. We got gourmet rack of lamb to cook on the bbq and it was amazing. Also got some fresh sliced deli meat and cheese. The staff there are super sweet and helpful. You don't need to go to a full fledged grocery store to get what you need. They were even nice enough to cut us off some fresh herbs from their garden....

The last visit I ordered a sandwich on rye with no meat as I am vegetarian, my coworker who is also vegetarian ordered a salad. We paid over $25 for a bowl of lettuce and a piece of tomato on wheat bread not rye. Normally I do not mind paying extra for quality food but this was not quality food.
