Worst customer service experience I’ve ever received!! I ordered a printer offline that’s very hard to find, was in stock at the North Broadway location, my card was charged $650, I called to let them know I would be doing curbside pick up within an hour and to please have it ready for me which they ensured me it would be! I drove over 45 minutes for the manager to tell me they sold my printer to someone else that arrived to the store before I did, but HAD NOT EVEN PAID FOR IT UNTIL THEY WERE IN STORE! The store manager called me while I was driving so I didn’t answer and left me a voicemail letting me know they had sold my printer to a customer in the store and I would need to cancel my order!! She even acknowledged the fact it was MY printer and I had purchased it first, but told me this woman was in store first so they gave it to her and then proceeded to give this other customer MY PERSONAL INFORMATION VIOLATING MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY! I knew the customer that came in personally(the manager didn’t know this as she proceeded to give out my personal information), and she informed me LEEANN walked to the front of the store with MY printer and told this customer it was mine but she’d sell it to her anyways because she was the first to arrive at the store. Now I have a $650 hold on my card so I can’t even try to order another one because I don’t have the finances to do so until the hold is removed, and I’m without a printer which is essential to my small business that provides for my...
Read moreThe last few times I’ve been here have been pretty bad. Whether you’re getting something printed or just trying to purchase some office supplies, be prepared for the trip to take three times as long and be prepared to not quite get what you needed. I stood at the print desk recently for an hour and a half for (what I thought was) a simple print job, because the very sweet and apologetic person at the print counter clearly just didn’t know how to utilize the equipment, and the only other person working in the whole store that could assist was also working the register, self help print station, helping customers find things in the store, and probably doing a dozen other things I couldn’t see.
All the frontline staff I’ve interacted with have been fine or even great. But they seem at times not to be sufficiently trained, are working in a store that’s understaffed (so. of course, who would have time to train them?), undersupplied, and with point of sale and other basic equipment that hasn’t been update for a decade or more. Seems like a bunch of good people that are set up to fail.
I hope management and corporate can get it together. This place it right next to my house, so I’d love to keep supporting it, but at this point it’s probably cheaper and faster to drive...
Read moreI went to Office Depot on Kingston Pike in Knoxville. I was searching for a desk for my office. The sales assistant was very helpful and I found a desk that I really liked. He ordered it and said it would be here on Thursday. I waited all day Thursday and no desk. I waited till noon on Friday and I called and they said they would get back with me, they finally called me back to let me know the desk was damaged and had been returned but no one had called me, so they re-ordered it. They told me it would be here in two days and again, I stayed home and I waited and no desk. I called back. They said it had been delivered the day before which it wasn't supposed to be and I had not received it. So they re-ordered it again telling me it would be here on Thursday. I worked Wednesday and came home to find the desk was here and that they have thrown it out in the driveway and my husband who is disabled like to have never got it in the house. I had to postpone my assembly people twice and when I finally called back after getting it a day that I wasn't suppose to I wasn't able to get a schedule to put it together until the next week. This is very poor on the carriers part and they need to seriously consider using someone else to deliver their supplies. Won't order...
