I've been a Bojangles customer for over forty years and have never been treated as poorly as the afternoon staff treated me today. After handing over my debit card I was told that my order would take about five minutes, then that my card was declined, by the only employee that wasn't rude and the only one that looked busy. I apologized, explaining I'd just got gas and had made a mistake but had cash to pay for my order. After handing the employee a twenty dollar bill I began looking at my phone to see what my card balance was. The employee brought my change and said You need to pull forward. After saying okay I will but I'm looking at my phone to see what my balance is she giggled and walked away. Almost instantly an older woman appeared and in a rude voice told me again to pull forward. At this point, after looking to see if traffic was obstructed by my presence and seeing it wasn't, I restated my reason only to be told I'm tryna be nice to you but you're messing with my drive through numbers. At this point a total of four employees were gathered at the window, laughing and pointing because 'dis mf'r be trippin'. This group didn't include the one employee that seemed to be focused on doing his job. After deciding that I didn't want spit added free of charge I told them to cancel the order and refund my money, returning the change they'd given me. Instead of my $20 bil the young laughing employee dumped a handful of change and loose bills out into my hand while her three coworkers laughed loudly. When I asked for the manager the older lady returned, telling her audience she wasn't worried about 'dis trippin' mf'r ' and proceeded to tell me how friendly she was to me. I told her she was gd rude, got my money back and left while they laughed about it. If your numbers are that bad then focus on improving your service instead of abusing your customers. Must not be too bad for the employees to have the time to walk away from their jobs to heckle customers and provide other employees an audience while they do it. I've been to that location fairly regularly since it opened but will never go back again. Employees like that put locations out of business and then complain about their job going away. I also understand the challenges employers face when they try staffing their business but there's got to be better...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. The manager, Sara, is so overwhelmed by a team that clearly does not care about their job nor their customers. It was not a busy night. The kid covering the front was casually talking to another employee in a booth when another family and I walked in. Sara had to yell at him to get him to cover. TJ I think his name was. He is so unprofessional that he was leaning on the microphone and kept looking at the family in front of me with this slack-jawed look as if he wasn’t all there. He took the family’s order, asking Sara about every item that was ordered, and then ran off to do something else in the back, leaving me up there by myself. I just was there to pick up a mobile order. After about 5 minutes awkwardly standing there, Sara finally came up to see what I needed. (See a trend there?) Apparently the ticket for my order had printed but no one had put it together except for the drinks. Sara looks at the ticket and says they were out of beans and had to make more. 5 minutes she said. I finally got my food at 8:01pm. I was there at just before 7pm. During my time waiting, apparently Sara had to send her cook to Clinton to get ingredients so she was covering. TJ decided to go hide or something and finally came back to the front after 20 or so minutes. Drive through is running semi-smoothly needing chicken. Not only I but 2 other people with mobile orders and the family mentioned earlier were still there at 8 when I finally left with my food. Give Sara a raise and get her some competent help. That TJ kid needs a wake up call. I’m sorry Sara but I had to leave this review so that your owners will see what’s going on when they are...
Read moreI don’t normally write bad reviews, in fact this is the only one I’ve ever written, but I at least want to say something about this. So the food here is fantastic. Always amazing and the biscuits and gravy are really the main reason I keep coming back. Literally fantastic. What I take issue with are the attitudes of the workers. We’ve gone about 5 times now and 4 of those times they’ve been rude, neglectful, and completely unprofessional. They are constantly impatient, sarcastic, and never listen. They’ve completely interrupted or cut me off while ordering in two separate visits. This most recent visit they got upset with me for saying hello after a few minutes when I was waiting at the drive thru speaker and said “I’ll be with you in a second for gods sakes”. After which they interrupted me multiple times while they were ordering, keeping and incredibly short attitude the whole time. Then they got our order wrong. We're not sure if they rang it up wrong or just didn’t give us one of our items because they didn’t give us a receipt and mumbled the price at the window. We just went in and bought the item again because they didn’t give us a receipt (didn’t even offer it) to prove that we ordered it. They weren’t much nicer to customers inside either, basically ignoring or verbally lashing out at everyone with an issue or even if they just wanted their order taken. We really really want to love this place. The food is amazing and we love the theme, but the people make it an anxiety inducing experience. I get that they might be busy however if they can joke and smile with each other why can’t they treat the...
