Green Island Ice Arena — Local services in La Crosse

I’m a figure skater here and I love the club that lives at this rink. The rink itself is kinda cold but it’s a good one. The ice is good, there’s enough space to warm up, the locker rooms are functional. We’re not a competitive club, but the energy is amazing. It’s just so much fun to be a part of the LaCrosse figure skating club. The kids are very sweet, the coaches are really, really nice, and the older skaters are also very cool. We’re kind of like one big family. The only real issue is that figure skaters only get 6 hours of ice a week, of which one skater can skate 2 hours (we divide into 3 groups). And they melt the ice from March to October, so all the skaters either have to stop skating for that time or skate...

My family had a great time watching the Coulee Chill game! This was our first time out at the arena. We will be back for other events! It's not a huge arena, but that's even better for those that don't want to climb a lot of stairs! The concessions were a little pricey. I can't see paying $2.50 for a bag of popcorn. There are other options though. Overall, nice outing...

Cold & dirty place. Didn't know they could sell alcohol at youth events.

Home team is very inconsiderate of visiting teams, can't sit in the bleachers to watch kids play they want visiting teams to sit on ends or...
