I wanted to share that I just had an upgrade installed on my BeatSonic CarPlay module that has completely changed the functionality of the system. I originally bought it in 2021 when I got my car and had looked at all the options available at the time. Previously the module was hooked up through AUX audio, and whenever a phone call had to be made, it was necessary to select the vehicle's Bluetooth instead as the audio source so that the car's built-in microphone was activated during calls. Because of this, Siri also didn't work well, and being OCD about the audio, I wanted to be able to play lossless audio files which you cannot do through a 3.5mm audio jack connection. To be clear, the phone connects to the module wirelessly through Wi-Fi, but the audio from the module was going through the AUX jack. If I wanted to play audio through USB or Bluetooth, I had to manually select it on the phone in the music app and change the input on the car which would then not allow any of the CarPlay audio to come through. The reason I wanted to share is that today, for no cost, two years + after my original purchase, I met with Eric from BeatSonic, and he updated my device to the newest software and installed a new and improved antenna. The software update now automatically routes all phone calls through the car's native Bluetooth system so that there is no manual switching required. Siri now also works flawlessly through the factory Bluetooth, so it picks up your commands and "Hey Siri" perfectly. It also routes ALL the CarPlay audio, music, etc. through Bluetooth so that there is no switching of audio sources necessary at all, and you can listen to music and get all your CarPlay navigation prompts, activate Siri, etc. without ever having to change the settings. For those concerned about the audio quality through Bluetooth, if you go into the car's audio menu, and your phone is connected directly via USB and you select that audio source, the module then routes all your CarPlay audio through USB to ensure there is no sound quality degradation whatsoever. When you are using the USB audio, the phone still automatically switches to factory Bluetooth for calls and Siri to ensure that the built-in microphone is picking up your voice or Siri prompts. As a result of the new Wi-Fi antenna, the phone now connects to this module very quickly so there is no lag at all when starting the vehicle. I was so impressed that this update which took about 15 minutes made such a tremendous difference and that I did not have to pay for any of the labor or the update 2+ years after my original purchase. I am not one to post to promote a product, but I wanted to express a major thanks to Eric for hooking it up. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to add CarPlay to their 2021...

There are good companies with good products. Bad companies with terrible products and every combination in between. BeatSonic is a FANTASTIC COMPANY with GREAT PRODUCTS. I have installed a couple of different items in 2 different 3rd gen Lexus IS vehicles. The fitment and build quality are great. So easy to install as long as you know how to remove interior panels on and around the center console. The products I have installed have integrated seamlessly with the connectors. I have run into some issues as far as clicks and brief sound flucuation but considering the ease of installation and use I have been able to accept and ignore the issues seeing as they are only slightly more noticable than the factory bluetooth. WHAT SETS THIS COMPANY APART IS SAM CHO!!!! I have never experienced better customer service in any company no matter the product or price point. He is a great dude, who knows his product and bends over backwards to provide the customer with what they want. Need a custom kit? Simply shoot him an email, he will work with you to get you exactly what you want at the price point you can afford. Hell, the last time I was in there I had been having a rough couple of months. We chatted. I shared some of my unfortunate incidents and Sam wished me luck in the future and gave me a hug when I left!
