Giant Ramen & Sushi — Restaurant in Buena Park

Place is ok, there are so many better places though! I would eat here if I didn’t want to go out too far. Black garlic ramen was seriously lacking flavor but the udon was good. Sushi was standard and the hoedeopbap was tasty, just didn’t have much fish. Maybe I’ve been spoiled but service was poor. Girl was trying to talk to me across a loud room and ordering was slow. It was only her working this particular evening so it might have been overwhelming. We were told at 9:10 that they closed at 9:15 (nicely told us to gtfo), but we were confused because google says they close at 9:30. Didn’t matter too much because we were about done anyways. Despite the negatives, definitely give it a try, palettes are always different. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t come here again, could’ve been a one-off night and I always like to give establishments...

They charged me 124.67 for someone else's meal and then had the audacity to charge me my meal which was around 49 dollars on top of that.

I was real patient due to the bank holiday with them so I called today 11/15 regarding this charge on the 9th and they hung up on me! I called back several times and they hung up about 4 or 5 times before someone took my call. This is not appropriate business etiquette. I'm reaching out to my bank regarding this matter.

Word of advice, triple check what you're being charged. I have come here for over 15 years, back when it was Tampopo....I love the food but the service is really lacking here

This place has typically been decent food for an alright price. However, today I was served the salmon bowl (which I have gotten many times and it has been just fine) except this time the rice was inedibly dry, undercooked, or otherwise prepared wrong. It was crystal clear this was the case. So I graciously ordered a side of rice (which was fine) and was silent till the end of the meal, where I tried to kindly inform her the rice was bad. She simply dismissed me and said if you don’t like it, you can order the rice on the side next time. I tried explaining twice more, and she was passive aggressive and carried a tone that made it clear she did not believe me at all....
