Grocery Outlet — Local services in La Puente

I know that it is an outlet store so you can't expect to find the same items week to week. Which is a shame. But what I do expect week after week is good customer service. Grocery Outlet is consistent with their bad customer service. Just because I have an EBT card is no excuse to be treated rudely. I shopped there today an when it was my turn to go through the checkout lane I told the checker that I would be using an EBT card. This usually let's the know that I will be needing my groceries bagged. He proceeded to ask me if I would be needing any bags I told him yes I would. He finished scanning my items, told me my total and pushed my items to the side. He then proceeded to start scanning the next person that was behind me an did not acknowledge me at all. Needless to say I ended up bagging my own purchase. It took three bags filled to the top to get the job done. I know from now on I won't be buying anything at Grocery Outlet, no matter how close the store is to my home.

I give this place a 3 star. It was my first time there. I found everything I needed. But when I got to the register it seem like the girl was having a bad day. It seemed like she hated her job. There was a man in front of me she was helping and he didn't speak English. There was a lady helping her Translate and he said "so it's 4 for $0.70". She looked at him and said ,"well if that's how you say $0.70 in Spanish I don't know Spanish." To me she was very rude and racist she looks like she needs a new job. Ok this is my market. Closet to my home im giving them a good rating but the one bad apple with a bad attitude cashier Luz Gonzalez has no customer relation skill. I wanted to buy this shirt for my son that bought for myself 2hrs before for $9.95 she rang up 14.95 i told her what i paid prior. she told me its 14.95 i got the reciept right here is there someone i can talk to. She start talking to next customer about my buisness. Looks at me and said its 14.95 you want to take chance to be charged 5 dollars more i told her your talking crazy that was 2 hrs ago.
