The Filete Sarandeado is the best I’ve had. Definitely worth the try! This is the only dish that I come for. I’ve tried this fish at several other restaurants throughout the Los Angeles area, and nothing compares so far in my opinion to the one cooked here at this restaurant. The portion they serve out is big enough for two people to share. Their chili oil is the best with this fish. The beans are very tasty and their rice seems always to be freshly made not dry, and tasteless like other places. I would be giving them a five star, however there are a couple of things that are inconvenient, that I would love to see improve.. if you forget to bring cash you will not be able to pay with your credit or debit card. This restaurant will only accept cash. They do have an ATM machine where you might have to wait in line to retrieve cash. The second thing is that the servers are not very attentive to your needs AFTER your food is brought to your table...lastly, they are always extremely packed, so you won’t be able to try the food without waiting for a very,...

Honestly was expecting more flavor for the aromas in fooe coming out of there and all the wait and reviews I seen before coming. I tried there molcajete with mixed seafood and also got a campechana, bith were exactly same except for some minlr details. For example the presentation of both were different but one had chile powder(molcajete) and other had more clamato in it. They were both decent price but seafood wasnt very fresh tasting for me. I also tried a shrimp taco, which had pico de gallo and guacamole.. Honestly needed some sort of salsa to make it good. I also tried the micheladas and again, not impressed, not special about it.. They salted rim of cup, wish they would substitute with chummy and chile better. Over all the food was ok, disappointed they only take cash. The parking lot was ridiculous full, but got a space after a while. On side note the salsa and chips given prior to food ate actually pretty...

I love seafood, and this was beyond mediocre, With those prices, you should be serving better quality food. Freshest ingredients perhaps. My tostada.mixta had too much imitation crab, baby frozen shrimp with poop, which I hate, Didn’t find the fish or scallops in it. Overrated. If you don’t know about real good food, you probably would like this place. Very crowded. Small tables. Low class. Stinky single bathroom. Also their secret sauce for the fish sucks. Absolutely just coloring and no flavor or spice. Not that I love spicy food but the worst I’ve ever had. Mariscos Islas Marias in Riverside Makes a better pescado sarandeado. And they give you a red and a green sauce. Unlike this place.

No Vale La Pena. Caro y Cameron congelado. El filete sarandeado con una salsa dulce marinado. No buen sabor. Tienen su clientela que posiblemente nunca han provado mejor comida en esta area. Baja clase y...

I have been coming here since I was 4 years old, I am almost 30 now. Today was the worse day of service in my entire life. The waitress was so rude. She came to take my order and when I asked for a menu she gave us an attitude and then continued to give us the worse treatment. The tortillas were like soft tostadas. I’m writing this for the staff. Get it together. There’s no reason for a father in a family of 4 to get his food, the same dish another table order after us, after the other table. I recommend this place to everyone who enjoys seafood. And I would be so embarrassed to recommend a place with staff that is so unprofessional. She’s watching me write this and now she wants to play nice but quite frankly it’s too late. I will be back, this place is too close to my heart to not come back but I will never boast about how great it is again

Their specialty is ZARANDEADO. The fish and shrimp dinner combinations are great. We have tried other dishes and any other dish is just ok. Their chips are good, but the salsa was not good. We figure it’s made with raw tomatoes and it was sour. A bit disappointing. Drinks are the average can, bottle and powdered mixes for aguas frescas. It would be much better if they had 1-2 fresh made agua fresca. Also, it would be awesome if they had smaller plates for seniors and people who can’t eat such large portions. Yes, one could take the leftovers, but who really wants to reheat sea food?
