The Filete Sarandeado is the best I’ve had. Definitely worth the try! This is the only dish that I come for. I’ve tried this fish at several other restaurants throughout the Los Angeles area, and nothing compares so far in my opinion to the one cooked here at this restaurant. The portion they serve out is big enough for two people to share. Their chili oil is the best with this fish. The beans are very tasty and their rice seems always to be freshly made not dry, and tasteless like other places. I would be giving them a five star, however there are a couple of things that are inconvenient, that I would love to see improve.. if you forget to bring cash you will not be able to pay with your credit or debit card. This restaurant will only accept cash. They do have an ATM machine where you might have to wait in line to retrieve cash. The second thing is that the servers are not very attentive to your needs AFTER your food is brought to your table...lastly, they are always extremely packed, so you won’t be able to try the food without waiting for a very,...
Read moreHonestly was expecting more flavor for the aromas in fooe coming out of there and all the wait and reviews I seen before coming. I tried there molcajete with mixed seafood and also got a campechana, bith were exactly same except for some minlr details. For example the presentation of both were different but one had chile powder(molcajete) and other had more clamato in it. They were both decent price but seafood wasnt very fresh tasting for me. I also tried a shrimp taco, which had pico de gallo and guacamole.. Honestly needed some sort of salsa to make it good. I also tried the micheladas and again, not impressed, not special about it.. They salted rim of cup, wish they would substitute with chummy and chile better. Over all the food was ok, disappointed they only take cash. The parking lot was ridiculous full, but got a space after a while. On side note the salsa and chips given prior to food ate actually pretty...
Read moreI love seafood, and this was beyond mediocre, With those prices, you should be serving better quality food. Freshest ingredients perhaps. My tostada.mixta had too much imitation crab, baby frozen shrimp with poop, which I hate, Didn’t find the fish or scallops in it. Overrated. If you don’t know about real good food, you probably would like this place. Very crowded. Small tables. Low class. Stinky single bathroom. Also their secret sauce for the fish sucks. Absolutely just coloring and no flavor or spice. Not that I love spicy food but the worst I’ve ever had. Mariscos Islas Marias in Riverside Makes a better pescado sarandeado. And they give you a red and a green sauce. Unlike this place.
No Vale La Pena. Caro y Cameron congelado. El filete sarandeado con una salsa dulce marinado. No buen sabor. Tienen su clientela que posiblemente nunca han provado mejor comida en esta area. Baja clase y...
