Today I went in top10 nail salon and immediately I felt some type of way. However, like 3 customers came in after me with no appt. Like me just a walk in and was seen before me. How I knew this was because the ladies and I was having a conversation. I was being very patient. On another note I had a expired certificate that was given for my birthday and Jimmy was kind to still except the voucher. So when it was my turn they sat me in the chair to get my pedicure waited like maybe 20 mins or more before someone was available after the young lady who was pregnant finished the client she started to do my feet then that got intercepted by the owner Jimmy, because three more customers came in and he wanted her to do them smh. Jimmy took over and started doing my toes it was the worst experience I had ever witnessed. I have been to many nail salon in the type of pedicure that I received today was not the money that I spent for. Then after that was done, he started to do my nails and I noticed from the jump that when he was putting the tips on my nails, like it was looking a little bit crooked as a nail tech myself I just wanted to go get pampered and not have to do my nails myself I was so disappointed after he finished everything the shape of my nails is not what I wanted and the length of my nails not what I wanted it and also two of my nails are crooked and as a business person you supposed to catch this before the client. I just felt like he rushed and didn’t care how I felt I would never go back nor I would never tell any of my friends to go there because that was unacceptable. The voucher was 50$ and I paid 60$ more so 110$ total. I came home and my husband was so angry because I didn’t say anything plus he said I could of did my mails myself but he understood that I wanted to get pamper for my up coming birthday. Do NOT spend your money here. I’ve had more than a few bad experiences here as well as my mother. We tried Top 10 for waxing once and I left there with burns above and under my eyebrows. I called back and told them what had happened. The first time we called, a man got on the phone and yelled, saying he didn’t know what we were talking about. The second time, we went in and spoke to the owner Jenny. She apologized, saying next is free. I tried again and once more, I left with burns. That was just the beginning. I didn’t let them touch my eyebrows, but my mom and I tried them out for pedicures and it was not a good job. No time taken out for quality and they didn’t even file the nails. We stopped going after after that. Definitely not for us.

*IMPORTANT: My mom went back for the first time in months to try out the eyelash extensions. Jenny did the job and it was horrible. They fell off my mother’s eye the next day and what we saw were very fake looking clumps of lashes held together by a lot of glue. It was messy and damaging. My mother had no choice but to take them off, as her eyes were swollen from the glue. Now, my mother LOST ALMOST ALL OF HER NATURAL EYELASHES. She called Jen, asking for her money back and Jen said she’d give her half the money. My mother refused and wanted a full refund. Jen then hung up on her and when called back, hung up a second time. Long story short, my mother went back in, demanding her money and Jen did not look up, making a worker give her $35 and DID NOT GIVE BACK THE $5 TIP. My mom said she wants her $40 back. Jen then yelled at the worker to give the $40 back and then said to my mother “just get out of my store”. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TIME HERE. This is my warning to you. If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in and requested a full acrylic set. I sat down with "Jimmy" and he started filing immediately. He never attempted to clean up the hang nails on my fingers before or after putting the set on. He reached for the gel and I said I wanted acrylic he gave me a look but proceeded. I have wide thumbs, he began to file the top of the nails very narrow and when I said that I didn't like it he said he was making my hands look better because wide thumbs don't look good. I said these are my hands and I want my nails to look like mine not like you put a pinky nail on my thumb nail. He complained but complied...on ONE hand. I have been getting my nails done for over a decade and have NEVER been told my nails or hands look bad and they would only look good with skinny nails. He told me that if I wanted something "special" done to my nails I should have specified in the beginning. I was unaware keeping my nails their natural shape was something special. I was trying to treat myself, so stupidly I continued to sit. He painted my nails and painted the gel color on my nails AND skin. So now I am stuck with nails that look like they are already lifting AND catching almost everything. And I cannot try to remove the excess gel without taking the polish with it.
