I brought my xbox series X over to mason for a simple HDMI port replacement due to corrosion. He ended up having my xbox for over a month along with extremely poor communication. I was getting worried due to the poor communication so i asked for it back. This xbox had NO other issues other than the HDMI port. When i asked for it back he stated that it was having other issues such as overheating which i found odd because it never had that problem before. When i arrived to pick it up he informed me that if i gave him more time he would have been able to fix it but i found a months worth of time was PLENTY of time. I brought it home plugged it in and there was no picture. The HDMI port didn’t work but WAS replaced. I called up another place called Luxe Tech repairs and brought it in. They opened it up immediately after me bringing it in a provided me with some very shocking photos of what the inside of my xbox looked like which i will provide below. He said there was automotive grease on it and solder flux instead of thermal paste which was causing it to over heat. 1 hour later this company had my xbox working and ready to go which i will also provide pictures below on how beautifully Luxe Tech fixed my xbox in just 1 hour. i will never be bringing my business back...
