Angel Water, Inc. — Local services in Lake Barrington

The Operations Manager, Mr. Chris Hanson called me regarding the issues that I raised in my review. He explained me how this system works. I’m satisfied with his scientific explanations. He offered me some solutions to resolve the issues. Based on our conversations, I’m changing my rating to 4-star.

Here is my original review:

Purchased Angel Water system thru the Costco in May 2023.

I'm experiencing the following issues: Capacity Issue: I asked the Project Manager before signing the contact how much water I can pump at a time from a 4-gallon water system. His response was - the system would produce at least 3 and half gallon of water. I was getting little over 2-gallon of water.

When I called the Angel Water, they suggested to add another 4-gallon tank to get 4- gallon water at a time. Basically, need 8-gallon capacity system to get 4-gallon of water. It cost me additional $210 on top of $2330 (original purchase price) to get 4-gallon water. I paid altogether $2540 for this very low-quality system.

If I would know upfront that this system is unable to produce 4-gallon capacity, then I wouldn't go for this system. Also, it is not practical to add another tank inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The representative from Angel Water told me that they need to move the system in the basement.

Force Issue: the water force is extremely low. It was checked/verified by the Service Manager of Angel Water.

In summery here are the points to be noted: Capacity issue - pay for double the capacity system to get you desired amount of water -It is expensive Flow of water is very low Received misleading information about this water system for better decision of purchasing this system

I'm extremely disappointment with this water system. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this expensive system.

I couldn't be happier that my husband and I made the decision to work with Angel Water. I had 2 companies come to my home and Angel water undoubtedly was the right direction to head. From the first consultation with Bill Slocum, I was impressed. He is extremely knowledgable, and not pushy at all. He wasn't disappointed that I said that he was my first meeting and I had an appointment with another company. I met with that company, and the salesman was nice and informative BUT the product didn't come close to what Angel Water was offering. I wasn’t thrilled about spending more money but if I was spending thousands of dollars on something I highly believe in, which is clean water, there was no doubt that I needed to work with Angel Water.

The owner, Andrew Wilson, from what I've read on Google reviews, is all about taking care of his customers, and his employees. He cares about what he’s selling, how he treats his employees, and how his employees treats his customers. So much that he offers his cell phone, in his reply, to take care of any issues that you may have. When we signed the contract with Bill, he was so thankful, and couldn't have been more appreciative. He knows it's a large investment and he didn't take that for granted. Bill walked us through the entire process, explained everything in detail, answered every question I ask, and promised his team of certified plumbers would come and flawlessly install the ERRC3702 water treatment system and the HERO 375 reverse osmosis system both by EcoWater Systems. Taylor and James arrived and did a fantastic job, they cleaned up after and were very professional. Bill came back to retest our water and guide us through the operation of our system. My house is 27 years old and the water softener about the same age. Angel had installed so I called them and was greeted by Beth. What an amazing conversation I had describing how replacement is done. I am hearing impaired and she spoke slowly, repeated as needed, and made the appointment for me. I talked to her boss Eric to let him how superb she is on the phone with customers. Seemed very happy to work for Angel.

Next came Matt who presented the possibilities, and made a recommendation for my house and it's larger than normal water usage. He was very informative, and discussed payment and installment to the detail that I needed to know. He also demonstrated the bad stuff in my water.

Next came two installers that I forget their name. There were so happy to be working on my project it made me feel good. Their work was meticulous and cleaned up after themselves. They also found a blown sump pump that I had no clue.

Matt came back a week later to check the water. He answered my questions without feeling hurried-an unusual situation today.

The new system is incredible. the water tastes great, and showers are a different experience without calcium and lead ridden water. They are going to deliver the salt on a routine basis as far to heavy for me now.
