I think this is a great place for laser tag but they definitely need to improve their skills when dealing with parties.
I booked a party for 24 players and advised staff I would also have about 15 non-players in attendance with me. They asked me to have a list of kids to be able to separate into teams so it would be easiest for them and also advised they would have ample room for the non-players to hang out in, in case we had to wait for the party room to be available. I advised I would have a couple of baby's just to ensure there was not an issue with this and they advised as long as we weren't trying to happen play we were good.
The first issue I experienced I'm not being at all prepared to deal with my guests. This is in reference to multiple kids getting the wrong colored wristbands even though they had a list right in front of them marked off on one side who was red and who was blue. I caught most of them that were incorrect except one of my sons close friend ended up being on the opposing team with no one else he know.
Our party game time was set to start at 5 and I was told to the party room would be empty by 5:30 and it should take about 15 minutes for them to clean it up. I saw the group of people leave at about 5:20 so at about 5:45 I went to go ask on the status of the room and I was told they have yet to clean it. That's when I realized it was the same girl helping us with the party who was also in charge of the front register so how exactly she expected to be able to handle everything like that. later on I realized she's also the one caring for the other large party currently there and therefore both parties had to continuously be waiting.
One of my guests with the baby told me later in the night that she needed to change her son's diaper and when to ask if the bathroom had a changing table. The response she received from the gentleman was "in the four years we've been here, we've never had an issue with needing a changing table" her response to that was "so you don't have one?" And he told her "you can go into one of the empty party rooms for privacy". She went in and change the baby's diaper and when she came back out to the lounge area he says to her "did you survive?" I unfortunately do not know which of the employees said this but this is extremely road and definitely not a way to be treating a guest.
I ordered pitchers of drinks as soon as we moved into the party room and it took about 25 minutes to get those in there and the cups I had requested were nowhere to be found. I asked the employee for them and she said she still had to go back upstairs for the cups but that it would be a few minutes because she also needed to attend to the register and do something else with the other party room. there were three other employees sitting around doing nothing I don't understand why she was the only one helping the parties out as well as handling the register. I ended up going upstairs myself to ask for the cups so that my non-player guests would be able to have something to drink.
As we had booked the party my son should have received a free weapon upgrade but that also did not happen. we ended up being given a pass to come in the future and use it but I'm not quite sure that after this experience will be going there very much. It just seemed that they're not at all organized with handling large groups and thankfully I have coupons or else my total would have been between $900 and $1,000 just for the laser tag and the party room. We had to order our own food which I was completely aware of before we booked.
I recommend this place if you want to go have a laser tag game with just a few people but definitely do not encourage you to go with large groups or...
Read moreThis place is amazing! No more is laser tag a thing of confined spaces and UV lights. Here you play in literal two story buildings with normal lighting. And here the guns use infrared light which you can only see while looking down your scope. That's right. Scopes. The typical gun has a somewhat typical magazine size and must hit an enemy four times to net a kill (note: the only place you can hit someone here is the head). However, you might have gathered by my use of the word 'typical', but there are also atypical guns. I went on a company trip with my team from work and we had teams of size around 12. They allowed 2 people from each team to get one of these special weapons. There was burst fire rifles, machine guns, sub-machine guns, shotguns, and sniper rifles. The burst fire rifle operated just like the typical guns, but with a burst fire instead of semi-automatic fire mode. The machine gun had a huge clip size and a full-auto fire mode and a bit faster fire-rate if I'm not mistaken. It was quite large and heavy to look the part (note: the various special guns each look a bit different than the regular ones to help distinguish them at a glance). The sub-machine gun had an even faster fire-rate than the machine gun, but required 6 bullets to kill instead of the typical 4. Unfortunately, no one from my group ended up picking a shotgun, but it's shape and design was pretty unmistakable as it hung on the wall. It's the only one they didn't offer to us. I'm pretty sure they would have let us use it if we had asked, though. Finally, the sniper rifle (the gun I ended up choosing as I was one of the 2 selected from my team to get a special gun). The sniper had a significantly decreased max ammo capacity and a simulated bolt-action fire mode. The reload speed on it was increased by like 3-fold, but it was a one shot kill which made it very fun to play with. I digress. The point is, this place seemed almost like a paintball place in it's feel, but was actually just laser tag and that made it pretty awesome. Totally would recommend to anyone...

They say on their website that they are recommended for adults and that is appropriate. My teens though had a blast. So did the adults! The battle area is multi level and huge. My kids tell me it plays just like "Call of Duty". The play is all 'mission based' and the hour and 45 minutes of play goes by fast. Grab your kids (if they are old enough) get them off the video games and get them to run around! The facility is still new so don't be surprised to see saw dust, some new paint or other signs of their recent construction. Lots of fun and lots of exercise. This is hands down the best laser tag I have ever been too. The guns are not cheap little plastic toys but real metal. 3/6/2016: We went back again for the same birthday and it is still every bit as much fun as before. So happy to see they are getting a good steady stream of business. This...
