Great deals! I bought MANY of boots and shoes! They were 70% off but none over $10 no matter what the price was! How awesome is that! I also bought my 4 year old great niece many CUTE tops and bottoms for 70% off of their already 50% off price! Then at the register I got an extra 10% off of my total! There were several AWESOME ladies who helped me in every department and the checkout line went very quickly since there were several people helping to check out! I saved over $2100.00 ! What an amazing experience! I love going to S&M to shop! And you never know what you will find! New merchandise in each time I go and believe me, I go a LOT! I love S&M and all the knowledgeable and friendly ladies who work there! I would give you more stars, but that wasn't an option! Everyone needs to shop there for a beautiful wardrobe with shoes and accessories plus a great selection of men's and children's clothes and shoes! Not to mention all your seasonal items, kitchen ware, rugs, lamps, furnishings, bedding items and just so much more than you could have ever imagined! Thank you S&M for all you do to make...
Read moreWe stop in here to shop every time we visit Lake Charles, about once a month. It’s hit or miss, sometimes there are great deals and sometimes we leave empty-handed. I was Excited for this weekend’s visit since I had received a “50% off any item” coupon. ALL of the items in the store have signs offering 20%, 30%, 70% off of their price. My coupon had no exclusions saying it Could not be used with any other offer. They had men suits on sale for $69.99. I presented the coupon and the clerk said it could not be used for that item. I had selected a pair of pants that were on the 70% off rack and was told I could not apply the coupon there either. every rack has a sign with an advertise discounted price, so I don’t understand the point of offering a 50% off coupon if it cannot be used. Definitely disappointed. How’s the feeling of the old bait and switch. I don’t know if we...

Shopping with them is a treat (for bargain hunters) and the closest you'll get to the "Filene's Basement" shopping experience. An eclectic selection of merchandise--always--but with some real gems to discover and consider. I once bought a pair of Italian loafers there for $12 that would have cost $400 at almost any other store in America. Only problem is that you do have to visit often to check out the goods as the stock varies daily. There is always the thrill of finding a wonderful...
