I'm giving Sage Explorers a big shout out and recommendation if you're looking for toys. They're on bank lane across from Left Bank.

Hands on! The owner was so good to Charlie. She unboxed toys for him to try, and she even played a game with him that I ended up buying. He had so much fun!

No security cameras - this is a community store that trusts its residents. We felt very comfortable in here, unlike some toy stores that have signs around telling you you're on camera. I didn't feel stressed that I was going to get in trouble with Charlie running around.

Unique toys. We found some really cool things here that no other toy store in the area has, and we've been to them all.

Affordable.

Lots of nice little touches, like wish list cards that your child can fill out and take home if you're just getting ideas for the holidays.

I'll be doing my Christmas shopping here and I hope everyone else...

This is a great toy store - they have a wonderful selection of unique things that you won't find elsewhere. It's clear that the owner cares about selecting quality merchandise to offer. Most toys in the store have won some type of award and the value is well above what you'd get through Amazon. For example, they offer a geology kit that contains dozens of stones inside, perfect for something for a kid to do on a rainy day. I've bought similar things at Target and Amazon where the price is higher and you don't get nearly as much.

The folks here can tell you every detail about the brands and the toys they carry, and if you're not sure how something works, or what to get, they're happy to explain everything and make recommendations. This is the second time I’ve ordered from this store & both experiences exceeded expectations! The first time, I was looking for a specific product. It was shown on their website, but currently out of stock (in the middle of the supply chain issues). I called to check when/if it would be back in stock and their communication was stellar! They let me know that it had been ordered and kept me apprised of subsequent delays.

The second time I ordered (today), I was given the option of free local delivery as one of the shipping methods. The gift appeared at my door wrapped complimentary.
