Walgreens — Local services in Lake Forest

Although the store itself is great, the pharmacy unfortunately does not reflect the wonderful service of the rest of the store. I’ve been out on hold multiple times, only for a pharmacist to answer, then put me back on hold and hang up on me. Inconsistent information about the status of my perception is given to me. My partner called them while I was on hold and a pharmacist answered their call almost immediately and gave them the information about the prescription that needed to be refilled. They also communicated that they never received a prescription, but when I called back to my original provider, they had documentation that the prescription was indeed sent. When I tried calling back, that’s where I was placed on hold and hung up on. However, my partner called while I was on hold and not only did they answer their phone, but confirmed that they had received the order and gave them information about the order. Afterr having patronized this pharmacy for over 25 years, I can attest that this is presently the worst run pharmacy I have ever encountered. Besides being recently overcharged to the tune of $350, the manager, upion realizing the mistake, had the audacity to later blame me for not scanning in the applicable coupons, when in fact it was the pharmacy's failure in losing the patient's coupon numbers that caused the over charge. I question whether these employees are on commission. Attitudinal about their own error(s). Not a good elixir.

Terrible pharmacy service, very lazy and unprofessional staff. They hate doing their jobs- tell lies that it takes hours to transfer a prescription from another Walgreens, even though it's a few minutes process. They are very unhappy to administer vaccines- stating they are very busy and I should pick another date. They are the worst pharmacy experience I have ever seen. I would appreciate if they would change completely before they will screw up someone else...
