Five things I really liked about this experience: Beginner friendly for Colorado first-timers: we are from NY/CA and are not used to this altitude in CO. Plus, it was my sister’s first time hike ever in her life so I was a little concerned. Apparently, Lauren knows what she is doing so we were able to enjoy and complete our afternoon hike :D I loved the trail she took us! It was very private and gorgeous. It is truly nature & me experience that I missed so badly. I do like that it provides afternoon hike as we arrived at CO in the morning. She is prepared for your safety: the thing I was concerned was that I did not have gears for snowy mountain. At least I was wearing hiking boots, yet my sister was wearing sneakers. Thank god Lauren let us use spikes. It was Feb 28 and some parts of the trails were still covered in snow and ice. I appreciate her for having us fully enjoy the beautiful nature safe and sound. Very knowledgable and experienced guide: Lauren knows a lot of fun facts about wild lives/geological features in the area and shares a variety of details that were easy to miss. I loved her language of describing them and the way she had us interact with nature there using all five senses — we looked, heard, smelled, and touched (okay maybe just four; we didn’t tasted but you know what I mean). On top of that, she’s pro at taking beautiful pictures. Thank you Lauren for my new ig profile haha Such a friendly and humorous person!: Lauren is definitely a person you want to be friend with. She is very sweet and delightful! It was my birthday hike and she literally got me a cake for surprise. She really did not have to! Plus, she has this magic power to make anyone be joyful and get truly immersed in the experience. For example, I am extroverted and my sister is super introverted. I was not sure how my sister’d feel about doing something new and not favorable to her with someone she had never met to be honest. However, she really enjoyed this hike and said this experience opened up a new avenue! It was the best decision. I am excited to keep in touch with her for the other hikes X) A great communicator: a day before the hike, there was a bit of misunderstanding on my end when it comes to the ride and tips. Lauren was very open-minded and tried her best to address the situation. Her focus was fully on problem-solving and giving off an unforgettable adventure. That moment I instantly knew that this was the right decision. And it indeed was the best birthday hike ever...

This was our first time hiking in high altitudes and the experience was amazing. Our hiking guide Bre was so knowledgeable with the plant life, wildlife and mountain ranges. My husband researched a hiking excursion and this full day hike did not disappoint! We were picked up at 6am, reached the trail entrance at 7ish and began the ascent up the Herman Gulch, we hiked past the tree line and spend time around the glacier lake (12,000 ft +)and had a quick bite to eat ( pack your light lunch) water refill and snacks were offered. The views were stunning. Then we hiked back down the mountain, again Bre was patient, encouraging and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this full day hike. (7 ish am- 1 ish pm) Some tips: proper hiking shoes or running shoes with good treads; layer your clothes- the temperature changes from cool to warm and bring water and light food. Being active with some kind of conditioning would be advantageous for this hike. Props to Peanut Butter the puppy for leading the way. Thank you...

✨IF I COULD RATE LAUREN 10 STARS I WOULD !!! ✨my fiancé and i have gone on 4 hikes with lauren (one of those hikes we actually drove up to mt evans and she helped my fiancé set up his proposal to me🥹she literally went the extra mile—hee hee, get it?😆 to help him get a photographer and just make sure the day was perfect, which it was🥰), and each hike was amazing. she is literally one of the sweetest, most thoughtful people ever, and she’s so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. she is so prepared and makes sure you leave her hikes feeling empowered, educated, and proud of yourself for hiking!! if you want to hike in colorado, look no further!! i’m telling you, lauren and her hiking company is definitely the best hiking experience.
