Very disappointed. I purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot 4 years ago in Lake Havasu City. I have purchased all of my home improvement/appliances from this store previously. Never have I experienced such poor customer service. I returned home from vacation to find out that my four-year-old LG refrigerator had stopped working and to find a refrigerator full of spoiled food. I called home depot on Monday 10/10 spoke to Sam, he referred me to the claims department. I spoke to Joy. She called LG and advised me she had set up a service call for 10/12. I took the day off to wait for the technician to show. However no one did. At this point I still don't have a working refrigerator. I called back to Home Depot and spoke to Jeffrey. He made a call to LG directly to find out why they didn't show and what happened. LG advised him that they have no customer service rep in the Lake Havasu City area and nothing had been done at this point. Jeffrey then transferred me to the escalation department for Home Depot where I spoke with Nick. Nick advised me that I would receive a call back within 2 business days from LG. Here it is 4 days later from my original contact and I have not heard from anyone. I am the one who has to keep calling for information. I purchased this LG refrigerator 4 years ago knowing that LG was highly rated by Consumer Reports. The Home Depot sales rep convinced me to buy the 5 year extended warranty just for peace of mind or should I have any unexpected repairs in the next 5 years. Had I had known Home Depot would not stand by their products and support their customers in need of service I would have considered other options for my purchase. It is now Thursday evening and I haven't heard from anyone and still have a non working refrigerator, living out of a ice chest with a family of 5, 2 of those persons being children under the age of 2 years -Extremely...
Read moreHi everybody...My name is Troy. I purchased a 12 V Dewalt Impact driver back in February 2017. About a month later my impact driver broke the 5\16 drivers werent locking in anymore. I had this very nice and intelligent young lady named Brie help me get it sent out to Dewalt so they could repair the drill for me this was in June 2017. The drill didn't get back to Home Depot from Dewalt until about August 25th. So pretty much 3 whole months my main go to impact driver was gone I spent the whole summer missing it. Finally when I got it back I go to put a 5\16 in and it slides right back out not locking in... I was about to blow a gasket. I took it back to home depot trying my best to keep my composure and not to blow up on someone. I was frustrated three months and they sent me my drill with a new battery attached that's it?!?!? Didn't fix anything. When I returned to home depot down and out Brie was there again and she was really fast pulling it up on the computer all the while my 2 year old boy kept running back there with her and she did really good handling the whole thing I was surprised at how she helped me and satisfied the lil guy super fantastic job to her and Linda Lou for giving me a new 20V Dewalt Impact drill in exchange for my 12 v one. I am very satisfied that they didn't just send it back and I had to wait another 3 months! Props to home depot excellent customer service and definitely took annitiative when the manufacturer themselves couldnt! They definitely will 100 percent back up the products you purchase off there shelves! I am surprised they sent as far as to replace it with a new one and I am very greatful ams promised the ladies at the counter I would right this great job to Linda Lou :) she said she's a Dewalt go Big respect there, thank you Brie and April for getting this done in a timely manner you guys are off the chain and went...
Read moreWent down tonight to find a product for our room above the garage to help keep the fumes from coming into my room. We went to the paint department and the young gentlemen working that station was very helpful, after that we couldn't find anyone to help us and when we did they would say it's not their station and an hour later someone came but it wasn't his station but he didn't really want to help us either. So we decided to go pay for the fan we bought and low and behold there was a group of workers standing and laughing chatting it up with one another, so we proceed to the check out were the cashier was helping someone else I guess they forgot something cause they left the line to go find what ever they had forgot. The cashier said she couldn't clear their order on the cash register cause it froze and we would have to go to the next one over. Then asked ask are we paying with a card and we replied yes she then said oh no I just closed this register for the night for credit cards told her that's all I have is a credit card. Then guess what it doesn't work and she doesn't know what's wrong with it, ya I should of just left and went somewhere else to buy my celling fan but now after 15 min. Of standing there I guess she got the hint to run my card. After she was done she had asked another customer if he was paying with cash or a card he replied cash, she then went back to the first cash register and guess what works there now yep you guessed it that register now works. I'm sorry I came in a 1 1/2 hrs. Before closing time but dammit do your jobs. Talk and gossip on your time not on company...
