This is a very disorganized operation. First they didn’t know what tanks they gave me and if they were air or Nitrox. After they figured that out I hooked up my reg that is 6 months old and the valve on the air tank blew air. They proceeded to be rude and yell and say it was my reg which it wasn’t. Then they cranked down my very expensive reg to the point they couldn’t get it off the tank. Then they yelled it was just a blown O ring. Which it wasn’t it was a bad tank, just so the rest of the divers didn’t doubt their safety. I looked the O ring was still in tact and new. Then I processed to switch my very expensive reg to a new tank when the dive captain grabbed it from me proceeding to crank my reg down AGAIN! Meanwhile yelling at me to sit down he had it. Which I was very angry because it’s my equipment and I want to be the one insuring it’s properly done for my own safety. I was treated very poorly and they tried blaming everything but their lack of organization and probably inspections of the tanks. The other dive group on the boat had similar issues with their tanks and everyone was yelling before I even entered the boat. Worst dive charter I’ve ever been on. Staff was very disorganized and all these issues made the whole experience very unsafe. Also I was on the charter solo and buddied up with a gentleman so when all this happened he was waiting for me they had dropped all the other divers in the water. They proceeded to yell at him to get in the water that they would drop me after my tank was switched. He lucky didn’t listen and insisted he wait for me. Then they proceeded to drop both of us where we could drift into the group. Well that didn’t happen the current took us right over the group and we did the whole drift dive alone. Which I thank god my buddy waited for me otherwise I would have been all alone with no buddy. Who even suggests dropping one diver in alone!! And the fact the captain(Austin) was yelling at everyone. My husband and I did a two-tank dive with Pirates Paradise, and we were very impressed with the boat, the captain, and the dive masters. Everyone worked together to make it an excellent day of diving. We tried to obtain Nitrox from the local dive shop, but there was none available, due to the shortage of O2. (The majority of the O2 supply is going to hospitals for COVID.) We were disappointed that we were going to have to dive on air and have a shorter bottom time with the Goliath groupers. Once we got on the boat, Jeff saw the problem and made some phone calls, and Nitrox tanks were delivered right to the boat for us and another couple. We were so touched by Jeff's concern and resourcefulness. Cameron was our divemaster, and he did a GREAT job checking the dive sites and guiding the dives. Madison took great care of us on the boat, giving clear dive briefings and helping everyone with gear and refreshments. The captain was very congenial and made everyone feel welcome and safe. I can’t say enough about how incredible our dive experience was with Captain Joey and his amazing crew! From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism, warmth, and care. This was our first time diving in Florida, and I’ll admit—my stress level was high going in. But Joey went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. His calm demeanor, knowledge, and genuine kindness made all the difference.

He truly took the time to ensure we were comfortable and confident before getting in the water. It turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into one of the most enjoyable adventures my family and I have ever had. The entire crew was outstanding—supportive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do.
