Gung-ho Divers has changed my life. Not only do they get the widest variety of sharks (Tigers, Bulls, Lemons, Hammers, Sandbar, Silky, Dusky, Nurse) they do over other shark diving / snorkel boats. Nic, the owner / operator is a US Marine veteran, and has fed / led shark dives for over a decade. His boat is the perfect size (never over filled), he always uses the best bait to attract the sharks, has awesome snacks, and without fail, NIC PUTS YOU ON SHARKS. It’s always the first boat out which means you get to see the sharks before anyone else in their natural state. They have everything you need, whether you’re a Discovery Channel level professional underwater photographer or the novice “Caribbean diver.” From full sets of gear to hoods and gloves - truly a one-stop-shop. The photo package is a MUST if this is your first Shark dive - so worth the price. I’ve literally been on the boat with celebrities and professional photographers with $150k cameras. It’s insane. GUNG-HO is known in the community as “The Tiger Boat” and you know why? BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS ARE ON THE TIGERS! They don’t cut corners. My friend and I came down to Florida for our first “girls trip” because we knew it was essential as we have officially become adults. We are from Nebraska. The only reason why we traveled all that way was because we heard about this diving group. We checked the reviews and were not feeling skeptical what so ever. We were excited about it the whole way and when the morning finally came we knew that these guys knew exactly what they were doing. They had gear ready, made sure every inch of everything fit, and informed us about everything. It was like watching Steve Irwin all over again. They made sure everyone was safe and equally having fun the whole time, and made sure we and themselves were respecting the sharks. As a person who’s big on respecting the Earth and its creatures - I feel good knowing I was able to appreciate these creatures by understanding we were in their space and was in good hands and with a crew that respected them the same way as myself. My husband and I recently had the incredible opportunity to go shark diving, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! From start to finish, the staff was absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Nic (the shark handler and owner) made sure everyone felt comfortable and well-prepared, providing clear instructions and ensuring our safety at all times. The team was punctual and well-organized, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

The dive itself was breathtaking! We saw 3 tiger sharks and about 6-10 lemon & nurse sharks between the two dives. You are not guaranteed to see anything but their entire process of bringing the sharks in is genius and we had an awesome day of diving. Their passion for marine life was evident, and they went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable day for us.

If you're looking for a well-run, exhilarating shark diving experience, I highly recommend Gung Ho. We've been shark diving with another company in Jupiter and didn't have as good of an experience in previous years. Can't wait to go back...
