I don't quite have the words to express the scale of service I receive at this place. The store manager, Alexis, is a different caliber of human. I honestly haven't received this level of assistance anywhere else -leaves me scratching my head every time. I'm a muralist and often have funky requests, which she is HAPPY to help me tackle by providing information or personally contacting either artists with experience or manufacturer's (she's done both while I've been at the counter.) The insight and product suggestions are honest and knowledgeable. If something is unresolved, she calls me with the right information as soon as she receives it, and has also sent pictures when I haven't been able to physically come in. I have so much love and respect for this place because of the difference she consistently makes.
The store itself is expertly supplied and it's not shy on bargains. They have the greatest variety of material and canvas sizes I've seen at any physical store. I can usually find what I'm looking for but if not they can order it for me and that usually takes about a week which isn't to long of a wait. Prices are at a good range, professional to student grade things are available. Store is always super clean which is a plus! It's usually hard to find good art books but they have a great selection in the back of the store. Last time I was there I bought a book making one. They offer student discounts so be sure to ask and bring your student ID with you. At the back of the store they also have a 50% off clearance section and almost always have someone...
Read moreI love this independently-owned art store! The staff is always welcoming, friendly and super helpful. Their prices often beat even dollar store prices. I draw and paint and my daughter also loves to paint. We were buying canvases at the dollar store, thinking that's where we'd find them cheapest. But when Easel Art has a sale on them, they're less expensive here. They carry a great selection of paints, pencils, charcoal and other supplies. They also offer art classes with excellent teachers at great rates. I highly recommend this art store....
