There isn't really official parking (minus one star) but I have thus far (knock on wood) been unbothered leaving the car in the grass on the side of the road. You can enter from three different places: Silver Beach Rd, Industrial Ave, or Joule Rd & 12th. I have rarely seen other people here so it's a great place to feel alone on with nature. I used to bird here a lot. Osprey, American Kestrel, a few different species of hawks, I even saw a Clay-colored Sparrow (rare bird) here! On one occasion I saw the back half of a dog as it went into the brush on the trail ahead of me. The look and color of the fur leads me to think it could have been a coyote, but that might just be wishful thinking (because saying I saw a coyote makes it a cooler sorry).    Read moreThere says no parking but all you have to do is put up sign in vehicle saying ur in scrub area. Is surrounded by junkyards and city noise. But there is about a mile of hiking that can be done in here. Although the surround areas of the park makes this less attractive once you get inside it is nature and there are some decent views worth checking out. This place can use some updates and can get more people here. It's worth a checkout if ur in the area for a bit and run out of options.
