To The Absolute Worst Business in Lake Park
After an unpleasant experience 2 years ago, I tried to visit your brewery again for what has become the final time. The first time I visited you, I was illegally and rudely questioned about my service animal and segregated to be only allowed outside because a band was playing. Tonight, though my service animal wasn't questioned, I was straight lied to not once, or twice, but 3 times about the beer that I ordered. I simply asked if you still carried Bavik Pilsner, and a gentleman (who I was told was off the clock but worked there) stated that a certain tap was the Bavik. After mentioning a hefeweizen was that number, I stated that I wanted a Bavik, and he said, "Yes, that's it." Well, it wasn't.
It was then upon your bartender to defend that employee and not offer me a refund or apology for LYING and trying to serve me a product I didn't order. I hope you find the time to understand the importance of telling THE TRUTH when serving customers.
I should have written off your establishment when my rights were violated under the ADA and hope the BBB will open up your space for a vibrant addition to...
Read moreI've been frequenting this establishment for the last 10 years. I've watched them grow from a small gallery / Beer and Wine Bar to a brewery with live entertainment every night of the week and art for sale lining the walls. It's a great concept the artist rent wall space and when they sell a piece they get 100% of the price. Food can be provided by local vendors sometimes there's a food truck in the parking lot and they do have snacks french fries hot dogs and things like that on hand there. The entertainment is top shelf local artists come in for open mics and songwriter showcases and then on the weekends is usually some fantastic band playing last weekend I saw the Prymates they were fantastic. Other bands in the rotation are The deadbeat daddies, the string assassins Backwater Saints and many others Put this place on your regular route whether it's for a night of trivia or open mic songwriter showcase whatever you won't be sorry the prices are reasonable and most of the beer is made right there on...
Read moreWe came for a beer and doughnut pairing. The lineup for this event was huge but totally worth the wait. We imagine that there isn't a line like that here usually and the atmosphere is great, lots of places to sit, chill and drink beer.
They aren't called a brewhouse for no reason, they have a ton of beer and a electronic board telling you what beer they have on tap.
We tried a chocolate beer, strawberry beer and a vanilla beer with the doughnuts but they do have "regular" beer too! Tons of it!
We've been in the area for 3 weeks now but only just made it to an event - we missed a couple opportunities to come for different events, like live music and open mic night. It seems like they have things going on all the time.
It's a place we would love to go regularly and will definitely be coming back again when we can!
To note: there is wifi, board and arcade games, local artwork for sale, and surprises around...
