Olive Tree Marketplace — Local services in Lake Saint Louis

I love both the Olive Tree Market Place and their Christmas Store at The Meadow. These are my favorite places to shop for the seasons and holidays. The staff is exceptional, professional, available to help with anything you are looking for, friendly and welcoming without hovering. But today, today they reminded me how kind and caring they are for their customers. I had shopped at both stores for their Holiday Open House this weekend and their selection and displays were awesome. Early this morning I realized a very sentimental ring wasn’t on my finger. I was panicked, thinking it had come off while I was sleeping and in the bedding somewhere. It was not. I looked everywhere. I decided to call them; Karli was so kind and offered to look in their store and to call the Christmas Store. Not five minutes later she called and said they had found my ring the night before! Amazing! I went to the Christmas Store and when I was given my ring, tears of joy and hugs of gratitude ensued. They were as happy as me! Someone said it was a Godwink. I knew it was. That Christmas store is huge!!! I went to the other store and thanked Karli for helping me, her kind, caring phone conversation that helped bring my ring back to me. I can never thank them all enough. So please, visit their stores, support their local small business. I would love to shop here more often and purchase a lot more of the items here which I absolutely love if everything wasn't so grossly overpriced. The displays are absolutely gorgeous but I don't think a pumpkin decoration is worth $77. Some items are certainly more reasonable than others but there are plenty of other places I can shop at that won't break the bank. After shopping in the main store, I went down to the pop-up Christmas shop on the corner and it was enormous but the same story with the sky high prices. Avoid at all costs!!! Deceptive return policy only displayed in fine print at counter. Sales staff utterly fail to communicate what items may not be returned; even the same day. The most offensive of all is an owner who throws receipts at customers and steals your money via “Store Credit” at a place of business none of you should support.
