Real Coffee enthusiasts do not waste your time. First walk in smells like fake pastries, or fake air freshener not coffee, red flag. Second no pour overs, third lady didn’t even know how to ring up a Cortado on her kiosk. Charged me $4.36… The best coffee shops in the city don’t even charge that. I ask for it for here, all they had were to go cups. She then hands me a cup full to the rim and Immediately take the lid off and it’s a cup full of foamed milked. Pretty much just handed me a cappuccino. I told her no big deal but for the record this is way too much milk for a cortado and this is foamed milk not steamed, this is a cappuccino. Rather than offering to remake it. This lady has the nerve to start arguing me saying no it’s equal parts and that they pull double shots that’s why it’s so big, insulting my intelligence, she then lied to my face saying she weighed it out. I just walked out wasn’t even worth discussing with that type of attitude. Worst part is the espresso wasn’t good, over extracted and bitter, even after she drowned it with foamed milk. Horrible attitude from the barista. Won’t be back and will tell others to...
Read moreStopped in on a Sunday morning for a coffee with the fam. We ordered 3 drinks in total, 1 iced mocha with 2 extra shots, 1 iced white mochas with one extra shot, and 1 iced mocha with one extra shot. First, impression when opening the door I could hear a younger lady talking rather loudly by the register, but could have almost been shouting at us when we walked in the door. I think someone may have said something and she said, well I have just had my sugar this morning. We ordered are drinks and another team member had to help as she wasn’t listening to what we had to say. We also ordered a muffin and egg bites. As we waited for everything, you could hear the team on duty, not really working together, as one team member tried to carry everyone’s weight, props to her. The lady taking the order continued to shout at people with her excitement but it was too much that even others after us that came in didn’t seem pleased. Once we got our coffees, we left due to the uncomfortable setting that young lady was setting for the shop. The coffees tasted very artificial. All said and done, for the $37ish we spent and the experience I won’t...
Read moreCame here for an afternoon pick me up on a weekday. Ordered a Brown sugar cinnamon latte and a cookie butter latte with oat milk to go.
The decor is very cute inside! Although on the small side it feels very comfy, definitely a place to hang out with friends or get some work done tucked in a corner. There was one person working behind the counter, she was friendly and fast with our interaction.
It unfortunately took about 15 minutes to get 2 coffees with 1 persons drinks ahead of ours. I’m unsure if this was a staffing issue or if it usually takes this long in general. Thankfully I didn’t have anywhere to be but if you’re someone who wants to pop in and out quickly I’d definitely recommend ordering ahead.
Both lattes were good although the one with oat milk felt lacking in the cookie butter/coffee flavor and tasted more like the oat milk instead of. I did see that you can request different levels of ingredients so if you’re someone like me who loves coffee flavor I’d say something!
Overall I’d come back to try another coffee. They also had a pretty large food menu written on the wall so I will definitely try the food next...
