I just spent the last hour up there trying to spend my gift card that I received for Christmas. The staff seemed helpful getting me a dressing room and all but recommended me try on clothes first to figure out my size when I had already tried on clothes and now was accessorizing the clothes that I did want. With that I had a coupon spend $100 get $20 off. It did state does not apply to sale items which I did buy 2 items on sale and a shirt that was regular price. She immediately told me I could not use my coupon and pushed it back to me, mind you I had plenty of clothes to make it work both sale and regular priced items but the elder woman DID NOT even try to accommodate to make this shopping experience a good one by helping me figure out a way to truly maximize my gift card and coupon. I was HAPPY to spend over and I did some tonight. But I WILL NOT RETURN and will not recommend this shop at all. Unfortunately after coming home and speaking to my husband he too knew the elder woman I was speaking about and told me how he was treated when purchasing the gift card. My mom, myself and my sister came in to this store over the weekend to check it out after we were rained out from the pool - so yes we were in shorts and t shirts but that shouldn’t matter right? well as we walk in we’re not greeted at all but we get death stares….still decided to look around. I compliment the place right infront of the owner and no response, my mom is complimenting the clothes and bags no response, mind you we’re the only people in the store at the time. As we’re still looking around another group of ladies come in with nicer looking clothing and was greeted right away and they even asked if they need help with anything! My sister and I peeped immediately and had my mom put down her stuff and we left. How rude and disrespectful! you guys lost a sale and great customers all because we didn’t look like your normal customers i guess? well we had normal customer money but we decided to go else where. I had gotten a gift certificate from a family member who said the store is exactly what I like. I was really excited to go. There were two ladies, working a young lady and an older lady. The young lady was super sweet, very helpful. The older lady was very rude. She made you feel very uncomfortable. They have very very cute clothes and accessories. However, I can’t say I will be back due to the custom service. I have been told by several people this has happened to them as well, who have been in their new store. Sadly, if it continues, they will lose business. I love supporting local and family owned businesses. I have a couple other little boutiques that I like to shop at hopefully this one can continue to grow and have a little better customer service in the future.
