Peppers and parsnips and onions....OH MY! Beiler's is a vegetarians wonderland (and meat eaters alike!) A friend of mine turned me onto Belier's. Needless to say, they are now my very best friend.
I absolutely love Beiler's! If you like a large selection of fresh produce at really good prices, this is the place for you. Want some affordable fresh herbs for your dinner recipe? Beiler's. Potatoes for that breakfast hash? Beiler's. Deli ham for your lunch sandwiches? Beiler's. This place has amazing sale ads and their veggies are beautiful.
They have a deli counter with some of the nicest staff. Fast, efficient and a good selection of meats and cheeses. Love to bake? They have a bulk ingredient section that is huge and a massive variety of ingredients you can't find in bulk elsewhere.
Parking here is a bit of a bear and navigating the store can be frustrating.....it is tight quarters and people love to leave their carts in the middle of the aisles. But, check out is speedy and the quality of their bags to put your produce in and their checkout bags are top notch. No ripping bags and run away apples!
I come here once a week and...
Read moreThere is so much to love about Beiler's. I go primarily for produce and Deli items, although they do also have a small Dairy section and canned goods and the like. They also have a fairly large bulk food section. But for me, as a single person, it's extremely budget-friendly to shop here. I can go home with six or eight bags of produce for under $30 because I can buy mushrooms, radishes, carrots, lettuce packs, fruit, potatoes, onions, almost every thing individually. I don't have to buy an 8 or 12 oz prepackaged box of mushrooms, I can just pick three or four out of the box. I don't have to buy a whole bunch of radishes, I can buy two or three. Their lettuces are sold by the pound rather than individually priced packages, so I can buy as much or as little as I want. They are always bustling here, but the cashiers were quickly and efficiently, and I rarely spend more than 10 minutes or so waiting in the line to check out. Some of the management are not so friendly, but they don't interact often with the customers, so that works for me! It's a small place, and old place, but it's fun to shop there and it's very...
Read moreWe love going here! They always have good prices and a GREAT selection of fruits, vegetables, spices, candies and more! They have a small deli counter serving up your sandwich needs. They offer amish made desserts and more. They have an ABUNDANT selection of spices and candies all packaged by the pound at reasonable prices. This trip we actually got a small bushel of bananas ( three large bunches ) for 2.95 and we got a bushel of onions ( I believe it is ten pounds ) for 2.45. You just have to watch for the sales. We travel about 20 minutes to go here but I honestly would travel farther! The three items I pictured I actually brought home and mixed them all together to make my own trail mix of sorts. Staff is always great, courteous and helpful when needed. Gladly give this establishment 5 stars. Go check them out and see for yourself! But keep in mind, especially on the weekends they will be lined through the store trying to cash out as they are ALWAYS busy. Fear not though, even when the register lines reach the back of the store and they DO, they will still clear the line withing a...
