Barton's — Local services in Lake Village

Stopped in today at Barron's just before closing, with the OPEN sign showing OPEN, the front door was unlocked as I entered the business!

I needed 3 gallons of Ultra White Ceiling paint. Upon walking in there was a black lady with long curly hair working at the check out counter, and as Our eyes met, instead of Greeting Me, She DID NOT SAY A WORD TO ME, and she turned away from me and walked towards the back of the store!

I went to the paint section looking for Ultra White Paint, which I found at $60.99 a gallon! I pulled a gallon off the shelf to take it to the counter n tell her I needed 3.gallons an change me for it, but at this point the Same Lady that watched me walk in, and walk to the paint section without greeting me, She just stayed in the back of the store, UNWILLING to help me with anything!!!

Since This Woman was worried MORE about going home, then helping out a customer that was in Desperate need of 3 gallons of Paint,.I drove all the way to Greenville Mississippi, and went to LOWES, where they where MORE THAN HAPPY to help me , and sell me.3 gallons of Ultra Wgite Paint, PLUS the crew member UP SOLD me Paint Brushes, Paint Bucket, Drop Cloths, Tarps, Painters Blue Tape, a Paper Machine for taping off the windows, Paint Rollers, and PInt Brushes!

I stopped in for 3 gallons of paint, but ended up spending over $500 at Lowes!

However, if I would have been even acknowledged at "Bartons" I would have spent the Same amount there, if not MORE?

I will NEVER go back to Bartons after the way I was treated, and will GLADLY TAKE MY MONEY...

I stopped in to pickup a shovel and rake the one day last week. I didn’t need any assistance the items were easy to find. One gentleman met me in the isle and helped me carry the items to the counter. They even offered to put them in the car for me. This is great service. They are always so friendly when I go in! The staff is all great!! The get the materials I need to the jobs in a timely manner. Only down side is they don’t carry a lot of materials and tools I find myself needing. But that’s not the local stores fault all of that has to go through Corperate. So something gets lost in translation. But once again the staff...
