This post is in regard to the Clinique makeup counter and the lady / makeup artist named Gabby. 10/11 around 3:30pm She was incredibly cruel and nasty to another Clinique consultant that wasn't from this store. She was like freelance if that's something they do. The "freelance" consultant who I interacted with first was so kind! She was helpful and guided me over to Gabby as Gabby could better answer my questions about getting my makeup for my wedding next month. As soon as I was introduced to Gabby, Gabby chose to not acknowledge me but instead she chose to aggressively reprimand the freelance consultant "I don't take customers on the fly like this". Note. I wasn't trying to get my makeup done today. I was only looking to ask questions. Had Gabby taken the time to ask me or the freelance consultant who originally helped me a few questions, she would have learned I wasn't looking to get my makeup done today. She shouldn't have spoken to the freelance consultant like that. That was incredibly unprofessional and just not a kind way to interact. Next. I have NEVER felt more insulted and spoken down too by someone. Not only did she make feel so incredibly small from her tone, but also in her rude and nasty remarks. Not only did she treat me poorly, she spoke poorly about her colleagues at this location but also at other locations. She came off very unkind and arrogant. I want to apologize to the freelance consultant for the way Gabby...
Read moreEach time I go to the Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales I wonder what it was like back in its heyday. To say that this mall is now past that would be an understatement. The sadness of that is the stores within the mall almost always look like ghost towns. There are exceptions to that statement, such as the Bath and Body Works, and there is a movie theater and bowling alley/arcade that draw crowds. Unfortunately, however, most of the stores you wonder how they can stay in business considering the lack of customer traffic that enter each day. Do not get me wrong, though. This mall serves a purpose and while the anchor stores JC Penny and Dillard's have little in way of customers each time I am there I would highly recommend both to any consumer. These two particular stores have wonderful deals and great prices. The selection of products is also good and they have many different options to choose from in each style and type of clothing. The only negative I can say about either JC Penny and Dillard's is that since they do not do much business sometimes it is hard to find an employee to assist you (particularly in Dillard's) since their staffing levels are probably low each day. But, if you are looking for good deals and want to shop someone other than Kohl's I would recommend Dillard's and JC Penny at the...
Read moreI have had wonderful experiences at this store. My first one was when I moved to Lakeland 2 years ago and needed to find a foundation that matched my skin tone and wasn't too heavy. The women there are very helpful and let me wear the foundation (and gave me a sample) before buying. I had to come back and write a positive review after receiving exceptional service yet again over this past weekend. Not only were the store associates so sweet to me and my 3 month old baby, but I recieved one-on-one care in the intimates section. I needed a new bra and had no idea what size I was or what to look for. If you need a new bra, come here! I have friends down in south florida and we complain all the time about bras and not knowing what to look for or our true size. I'm convincing them all to come up here for a visit to get properly fitted. This was THE BREAST bra fitting ever. ;) I'll definitely be coming back. The service provided here is what keeps department stores...
