Save A Lot — Local services in Lakeland

I was just in the store shopping with my 90 year old friend who gott a bag of green grapes. She didn't want a full bag so she took most of them out and put them in another bag of green grapes in the produce area. I. E. She purchased the amount she wanted and took out the rest. When we got to the checkout counter the cashier accused her of eating them before she paid for them. I told the cashier she didn't eat anything before she paid for them. But the the cashier, without any proof apparently outside of a small bag of grapes as evidence Insisted she had. My friend is hard of hearing and thought the cashier was joking. I waited until we got outside to question my friend more. She said she did not eat any of them before she paid for them. I was with her most of the time she was shopping and did not see her eat any either. In fact I'm sure she wouldn't eat anything before she paid for it. Certainly not a half of bag of grapes. The fact that this cashier was accusing a customer of eating grapes before paying for them just because she got a small bag of them is not only insulting, it well could be illegal. It's very unprofessional to be accusing your customers of stealing when they hadn't been, nor without proof. Wondering if we should...

Pretty cheap food, but not many name brands! if your low , on money , it's the place to go ! So , get food for a week , reasonably cheap! I STOPPED AND LOOKED AT ADDRESS YOU KNOW WAS YOU GOING OUT, I SAID TO THE CASHIER THAT CHECK ME OUT THAT'S A NICE DRESS I WANT TO GET IT LATER. SO AS I BROUGHT THE BUGGY BACK UP TO THE STORE AFTER I PUT THE GROCERIES IN THE CAR, MANAGER WAS STANDING OUTSIDE SHE SAID WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THAT DRESS YOU TOOK I SAID WHAT I GUESS THE CASHIER SAID SHE WAS TOOK THAT DRESS I LIKE LOOKING LADY I'M A LOT OF THINGS PUT A THIEF I'M NOT SO I TOOK HER BACK AT THE STORE AND I SHOWED HER WHERE WAS ON THE RACK AND SHE WOULDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZED TO ME A LARGER BLACK LADY. I WAS REALLY UPSET BY THE TIME I GOT HOME ! THAT'S ALL FOLKS MAYBE SOMETHING GOOD WILL HAPPEN NEXT...

4/23/24 My experience with check out girl ran the belt with another customer items up to scanner. I wasn't done putting my items on the belt. I'm disabled on a mobility cart. I told that girl it's the third and last time! So called supervisor came up to me looking to throw me out but discovered part of my payment was made. So she accused me of having a fowl mouth. Three times she did this to me. In conclusion the So called did nothing to remedy the problem. Cashier said to me that I was to slow. HELLO! Came home and emailed the corporate office. If nothing is done I will also put in a complaint to the ASA. DISABILITY LAWS ARE ON MY SIDE. Don't put up with abuse ...
