Taqueria el primo — Restaurant in Lakeland

I always drive by this food truck so I wanted to taste a few items. I ordered the tacos, steak, beef and chicken. The meats was dry. I just feel that they should be more personable especially when they see another minority coming to support even though I don't speak Spanish or am I Mexican I wanted to support and try the food. I will go back but next time with a friend so she can translate. When I ordered my tacos I asked for everything meaning, cheese, cilantro tomatoes sour cream. So MAYBE that was my misunderstanding because this is real Mexican food vs Taco Bell.. I will go back ,my goal is to try EVERYTHING...

The only thing good here is that this establishment opens early and closes later then the 3 other sit down restaurants all within walking distance of this establishment. All 3 have much better food. I have eaten here in the past and the last time I tried to buy only a $2plus bottle drink I was refunded because they claimed that they did not have change for a 20 dollar bill but it was just after opening and I'm sure they had change. Much better tasting...

I am a menudo soup on Sundays kind of guy, their menudo is great, their salsas are delicious the red is the spiciest but yet keeps the flavor to it. My favorites besides menudo are the Milanesa chicken tacos, tripa tacos, quesabirrias and pastor chalupas.

The staff is super nice and friendly.

They do not take cards. However they have numerous payment options like Zelle, cash app, cash and others.
