Subway — Restaurant in Lakeland

If I could give this Subway 0 stars, I would — but unfortunately that’s not an option. The heavyset Caucasian woman with tattoos working behind the counter was openly rude and dismissive. When I was deciding how I wanted my sandwiches prepared, she had a look of disgust on her face, as if my order was an inconvenience to her. On top of that, the tone in her voice made it very clear she was agitated and annoyed with having to serve me. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and created a hostile atmosphere.

To make matters worse, the other employee, a Black male working alongside her, just stood there silently. He made no effort to step in or correct the situation, which only reinforced the impression that this type of behavior is normal at this location.

The sandwiches themselves were thrown together carelessly, but the bigger issue is the toxic, disrespectful environment created by the staff. This reflects terribly on Subway and on the management of this store.

I will not return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this location until Subway addresses the serious problem with its employees. I will also be reporting this directly to Subway corporate so they are fully aware of what’s happening...

Every time I go in there the employees are talking about their personal lives while they make my food not even paying attention to me/customers. Talking about their pregnancies, family names, how sick they were, their financial situations.... completely disrespectful/rude towards customers. They also didnt pay attention to the details of what I ordered. I felt unwelcome/like I was burden for going there to get food and giving them business which in turn gives them their paycheck. Even making the simplest sub (ham and mayo) seemed to be a “large task” or burden. I could run the whole place myself and still serve customers with a smile and great attitude! I wouldn’t give this place any stars if there...

Had placed an order for some sandwiches for my family and friend. The workers that are their at lunch service are very rude and inpatient. At check out, they did not want to make my combo out for a foot long rool as it stated under the food board they did not want to do that. As They started charging other orders. My son said, "Can we please get the cookies so we can get out of your way?" The cashier and manager on duty said out loud, chill out, and be patient, "I said to them to calm down. Mind you, they are speaking to a minor like that.

People like this should not be working at a service place and unable to handle a small rush WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. Feb 2, 2025 Between...
