Recently I stopped by Studio Jewelers to have them take a look at my fathers pocket watch, that I thought needed a repair. After dealing with the owner, I had to write a review.

We caught the owner and another gentleman as they were closing up. The owner still took the time to not only look at my fathers watch, but took the time to recommend a much needed book for my fathers new journey into the world of pocket watch collecting. He also stayed a bit longer to educate us on some very crucial information on collecting pocket watches, what to look for, etc.

In the end, the owner showed the highest level of integrity. He could have sold us repairs that weren't needed. Instead, he explained the pro's and con's of having any work done to a watch that was already working, but needed some work to get the time exact.

I visited Studio Jewelers because of their high reviews and highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on anything Studio Jewelers repairs or sells. A real old school, take care of the members of your community type of attitude. Sir, you're a dinosaur, an almost extinct creature in todays...

Recently got this antique diamond and sapphire ring with old European cut diamond and sapphires. Took it to Studio Jewelers for a good cleaning. Met jeweler, Dan Claesson, who was able to tell me more about the piece and show me where many prongs were missing or were paper thin. He advised against cleaning until the prongs could properly secure the stones. Just look at the outcome!!! Beautiful. Dan very carefully matched the old rose gold and yellow gold components, carefully re-tipped and rounded the prongs and then properly cleaned the ring. He also was able to share that it appears that the ring was once from two pieces of jewelry, then combined to make the ring. Like maybe a stick pin and an old brooch! Dan loves antique pieces as much as the newer pieces and seems to have a vast knowledge of both. Stop in at Studio to have him look at your priceless treasures that might need some TLC. Dan may be able to shed some light on the history of your jewelry AND get it back into shape while maintaining the integrity of the piece! I am thrilled with my "new" old ring and got it back in...

I cannot rave about Dan enough! We are new to Lakeland, so when I noticed just how ‘worn’ my jewelry had gotten I went to google to find a jeweler who could rhodium plate my white gold & diamond necklace & ring. They were pretty beaten up I am not gentle of jewelry. Instead of just plating my jewelry, he spent an hour inspecting the pieces, explaining to me what should be done to them to restore them and showing me exactly how he would bring them back to life. Less than a week later I received a phone call they were ready, and he was not joking! Both pieces look brand new, he got all the dings and dents out and they sparkle like the day I got them! While I was there I also had him look at my engagement ring, the diamond is too big for the setting so the prongs are barely holding on, he spent lots of time throughly explaining different solutions. We will be back soon to have him help with fixing it. He truly is a skilled, patient and very knowledgeable jeweler, thank you again for bring my jewelry back to life, we will see...
