UPDATE - 1 month later, I went back to my regular nail tech for my fill. She pointed out that, the previous nail tech dug into my natural nails with his dremel tool, and left marks called 'rings of fire' (something that should not happen, and i had previously had them from poor quality work). Looking back, I was so nervous to try a new tech, that I didn't even realize he didn't touch my cuticles, or the bottoms of my nails. My natural nails were peeling from below, due to the negligence, and my cuticles required a lot more work than usual, because of the neglect. The nearly $100 price tag I paid, was in the end, nowhere near worth the work that I received. While the products and shaping I received were good quality, the price was simply not worth it.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I didn't get my tech's name, but I believe it was Luan. He did a wonderful job on shaping my nails. I was incredibly worried because I've been very spoiled lately, and had this impending fear that going back to a normal salon would result in horror or something. I feel like the design was a bit pricey (+$30 for a holo powder french tip) but the actual sculpting is so amazing, that I'm not even mad. I will probably forgo the designs in the future due to the cost. But if you're not on a budget, it's really lovely work, he knew exactly what to do when I showed a photo of...
Read moreSo i decided to come here as i used to come here a couple years ago when i worked up the street. Minh and his wife do great nails, and i was lucky enough to get his wife to do mine with no appointment. I got a gel pedicure and a gel full set done with off white powder. My nails were super long as well. All together i paid $135 DOLLARS. $40 i believe was for my toes, but $90 for nails with no design, a nice shape, and I’m sitting here with a broken nail 6 DAYS LATER. Like not chipped, but completely off my nail. Just ridiculous. When i was in there, a woman was going off for being charged $57 for her nails ($47 apparently is for gel full set, $10 for the design) but i sit here wondering what the hell is my break down lol at first i thought she was being extra for going off and i didn’t have a budget for getting my nails done, especially since it was for my birthday. I don’t mind paying for QUALITY. But quality isn’t just about looking good, the nails have to LAST. Also i saw several DPOR violations so I’ll be making a complaint formally with them as well.
I don’t want to see anyone else get ripped off. DO...
Read moreI went about 4 weeks ago and it was a really nice place and I waited about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get my nails done. The lady was kinda impatient but I guess she was tired and hungry like she said. Normally after 2 weeks or so your nails would get loose or you can pop them off yourself. I felt like they used superglue or something because my nails would not come off. It was a good thing that they didn't come off as soon as I got them done and they lasted a while but since everything closed so quickly I wasn't able to get them done. I soaked them for a while and nothing happened. My real nails broke off along with the fake nails and they were long. I paid $47 and this made me mad because my nails shouldn't have done that especially if you pay the money for them and they want a tip. I shouldn't have to pay to get my nails off when I could do them myself without paying for something . I'm normally not a person to write reviews but since a paid to get my nails protected my real nails shouldn't have came...
