My experience echoes the sentiments of some other recent reviews. We tried to order online, but you can't pay with a Firehouse gift card(which is sold right in their stores). So we headed to the location and walked in 20 minutes before closing. We don't like to keep people late, nor do we want to keep them from cleaning up. We ordered our 2 subs, and we were told that they were out of tomatoes. We had to repeat what we wanted several times, and each time another ingredient wasn't available for our Turkey Subs. No Provolone Cheese, so we got Monterey Jack. No mustard, but she could give us packets. She also seemed to be sick with either a cold or allergies, and she wasn't wearing a mask, which was concerning. Everyone was nice, but we just wanted a good experience for the $33 we spent. Finally, we weren't asked for our points code or phone number, so we had to wait for the machine to "time out". Honestly, we have never had a bad experience at a Firehouse subs before. I feel that I am being generous in giving 2 stars but the only reason for the 2 stars is that the cashier was nice (but new and appeared to have some special needs) and the brisket really was tasty. The reason for not giving more stars is the lady helping the cashier learn his role was as rude as rude could be. She was rude to him, rude to us....just nasty!!! The cashier didn't tell us that we were supposed to customize our order upon placing the order so, as the lady was prepping the subs, I asked her when do I get to customize. She very rudely advised that I should have done that with the cashier. How was I supposed to know that unless someone told me upon ordering? She had those brisket sandwiches simply oozing with mayo and BBQ sauce....so much so that we had to scrape some off in order to enjoy. Very rude and very ungrateful woman. Read morePlaced an online order for pick up at 12pm. Got there 5 mins early. Had to wait for my soup to be heated and my sandwiches were ready when I got there. My hot sandwiches where mush when I got them. The manager was not helping his front-end staff take care of the business load during the lunch rush and the care of handing me hot sandwiches that sat there 15-20 mins was unacceptable. I cannot believe this occurred and when I asked to have them remade, I was told to have a good day. This has never been my experience with firehouse, but this manager has no business in the food industry. Even after all the waiting and extra money I paid to have topping added to my soup.
