Review for Popeyes Store #11734: A Complete Disgrace
If I could give negative stars, I would. My recent experience at Popeyes store #11734 was an absolute nightmare. I visited the drive-thru on 8/28 at 8:06 PM, hoping for a quick meal, but what I got instead was a masterclass in how to treat customers like garbage.
Let's start with the staff—rude doesn’t even begin to cover it. The moment I pulled up to the speaker, I was greeted with an attitude so hostile that it felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. The person taking my order barely acknowledged my existence, rushing me through as if I was some sort of burden. When I tried to clarify my order, I was met with a heavy sigh and a condescending tone, as if I was the problem for expecting basic courtesy.
The customer service here is downright abysmal. When I reached the window to pay, the cashier didn’t even bother to make eye contact or offer a simple “thank you.” Instead, I was handed back my card with a scowl, and my food was practically thrown into my hands. It’s clear that this location has no regard for its customers or their experience. They’ve mastered the art of making you feel unwelcome.
And then there’s the food—if you can even call it that. The quality was horrendous, to say the least. My order was cold and dry, with the chicken barely warm and the fries cold and stale. It was as if they had been sitting out for hours. The sandwich, which is supposed to be a highlight of any Popeyes meal, was dry enough to choke on. This wasn’t just a bad meal; it was a disgrace.
Honestly, save yourself the headache and skip this place entirely. There are plenty of small businesses out there that value their customers and take pride in their food. Popeyes #11734 is a prime example of why franchise restaurants are going downhill—mediocre food, served with a side of contempt. Do yourself a favor and support a local business where you’ll actually be treated like a...
Read moreThe worst service I've ever received!” It was the worst fast-food experience in my life!! The girl, while serving the food, was burping loudly and yawning mercilessly "onto" the trays with freshly cooked chicken without covering her mouth! When I asked her to, at least, cover her mouth while doing it, she barked at me rudely that I should "shut the ** up"! I demanded to talk to her manager, she called me "white trash" and called up a rude curpulent lady, who approached me with a nasty "What do you want?"! I told her about my concern over the sanitary state of the food and the girl's attitude, she barked : "So you want her to stop yawning?" To which I replied that "both yawning and burping are natural acts, nevertheless, yawning and burping release the microorganisms in tiny droplets of saliva or mucus that get "sprayed" into the air .It's called droplet infection! And a person, serving food MUST cover her mouth at least!" My complaint infuriated the chubby manager and she burst into insults! We left the restaurant! But it wasn't over! While walking to the car across the parking lot of the restaurant, my son picked up a 25 cent coin. The manager squeezed the upper part of her curpulent body through the pick up window and screamed: "Hey, you! That coin belongs to this restaurant! Give it back!" How is that for "nice louisiana service"?! Will never be back to any of Popeye's locations! Never ever! Disgusting! And the attitude: racist remarks, barking tone, insults-are you out of your mind, popeye-employees?!? I haven't posted it earlier debating whether it's safe to post it with that "pop-eye" attitude. I wonder how many more people had the same humiliating experience there and are afraid of voicing it after the insults and threats received at...
Read moreIf your on the road driving through this area and need a place to grab a quick bite, this is NOT the place to stop.
Very inefficient and passive staff. I got the impression that every employee was upset about having to be there.
They were not overtly rude, but there was not an ounce of initiative in the place. Customers have to check to make sure they have their orders complete, because the associates weren't about to do it.
Example: The gentleman in front of me ordered several chicken strip meals. His total was well over fifty dollars.
Yet he had to ask for dipping sauce...then the lady at the counter gave him one dipping sauce. One? Really?
Then he had to ask for straws, then napkins, then more chicken dipping sauce, ketchup, etc.
It was like the associate was testing his will or trying to beat him at this game in which the objective seemed to be to offer as little service and assistance they could for such an expensive order.
It took forever for them to finally get this man's order complete. By then I needed to get back on the road. I got one item, and again, had to ask for a napkin, dipping sauce, etc. If the goal is to ensure people don't come back? They're great. I'll...
