Me and grandson arrived at location used restroom, one urinal out of service. Used bathroom washed hands we were the only patrons at the counter but no one was at the order counter. And attendant appeared from bach area and said be right with you granted we'd been waiting for at least 3 to 4 mins already. Another 3 to 4 mins went by( she was apparently changing shifts ) and she arrives at the counter and looked at mebut never asked "how can I help you....or sorry for the wait I had to do this or that. So I ignored her....and she walked away from the counter. stating to a coworker the stating "I was waiting to take his order but he never responded" afterwards I stated to a visible (drive-tru)customer service person that I would like a #10 and #5 meal...she looked directly in my eyes and said "you talking to me? I responded no the guy beside you...and that employee stated "yes he's talking to you" then the appearent manger revisited the counter to proceed to take my order with an appearent attitude because i made her wait. I questioned her behavior...and responded. I was off the clock and didn't have to take my order as if she was doing a favor. I kindly and slightly aggressively stated that if you were off the should have requested assistance to take my order.(I actually told her that she should be out of sight and have someone wait in so many words. She said I wasn't being patient the world isn't perfect and she was going to debate about her bad service level or anything.rang me up and walked away.... didn't even thank for your business or anything. Customer service is major part of the fast food industry. I'm a business owner myself #duoreedeliveryservicesllc and I know the value of a customer. I service millions of major businesses nationwide. In most cases I'd say fire that employee. But I'd like for management to reeducation or retrain that staff member. I for one will not patronize that location again ever. I don't eat out that much but my grandson wanted to eat there. So handle however you see fit. But we were the only customers in the facility and to get that level of service is a crime. If she handles Burger King business at this level how would she handle her own business. Realistically she would be out of business. That's why she's a worker and not a Owner of anything. I wish her nothing but blessings. Keep her employed we need a job. Enjoy your day , John L.Suggs Owner of a business that values great employees and even greater...
Read moreWackadoo lil' franchise here. I was stranded in Richmond for 2 days at a Quality Inn waiting for my trip to resume, and thought I'd make a late night order for food. Checking Google, I was convinced this store could easily take my order and I'd have time to eat indoors even. Nope. They actually accepted my online order and I hit "I'm here" on my phone which should notify them to start making my meal. My money was taken, and then I got to a locked door. Fine, an employee said the drive thru would let me have my order. I approach the drive-thru and the manager takes quite a while to even approach the window, looks at his screen and sees an order for me in fact exists; wasn't even started yet. Waited 10 mins on a fish sandwich and it was supposed to come with a new-subscriber to the app free L fries - didn't.
Next morning I wanted breakfast and was admittedly late. There was a croissant sandwich and hashbrowns, only, sitting under the heat lamps and I was offered this.. after hearing "egg-and-cheese" from the kid that mumbled into his chest. I said that works since I don't eat meat, and asked how long it had sat there: "oh, five minutes". Take my food to a table and it's ham and cheese, ask for an exchange or refund and some weird manager jumps in and launches in to "it's just the way you're approaching" etc., like I had been anything but cool. What is "it", my dude? What's the way I'm approaching? I speak evenly and calmly whenever a mistake is made by nearly anyone, esp food workers. Absolutely weird dude. The kid declares he told me it was ham: nah! I even mentioned I don't do meat besides fish. Why would dude just let someone talk and yak and not have something clarified if he hadn't heard someone clearly? No apologies, no real customer service, shrugging shoulders and mumbling workers and white knighting managers that are out of place. Surreal. Strange. Take your chances.
Oh, and after I sat and checked the time.. it was thirty minutes past breakfast, meaning my food had sat...
Read moreThis Burger King in Henrico County, Virginia provided the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a fast-food restaurant.
It started in the drive-thru with an incredibly long line and no response from the staff. Several cars ahead of us simply gave up and left. Hoping for faster service, we went inside, only to find chaos. The restaurant was packed with people waiting for their orders, and one customer warned us he'd been waiting over 25 minutes for his food.
We placed our order (an Impossible Whopper with onion rings and a bacon cheeseburger with fries), and then waited... and waited... and waited. It took a full half hour to receive our food!
The restaurant itself was also in poor condition. The drink station was overflowing with water and littered with trash. The entire place felt grimy and neglected. The staff seemed completely disorganized and overwhelmed. We even witnessed an employee walk out for a break while a long line of cars idled in the drive-thru.
When we finally received our food, it was a huge letdown. My mom's Impossible Whopper was cold, and while my burger was the right temperature, it simply didn't taste like a typical Burger King Whopper. The fries and onion rings were also cold, and the fries were completely unsalted.
Avoid this Burger King at all costs! Choose a different location or try one of the many other restaurants in the area. This particular franchise needs a serious overhaul in management and cleanliness. The owner should be embarrassed by the state of this...
