Pedego Electric Bikes Red Rocks — Local services in Lakewood

We planned a trip to CO with another family and they found this bike tour at Pedego. Our friend planned it and told us he spoke with the owner who was able to help us with a tour to Red Rocks (18+ miles). To tell the truth I was really nervous. I’ve never ridden an electric bike before and my 2 kids would be riding on the back of the guy’s bikes. The owner Tina was wonderful as was our other guide Patrick. I felt very comfortable with their instructions - we were able to practice a little before heading out. She explained the entire trip thoroughly and even sprayed us all with sunscreen beforehand 😂. We made several stops on our way up to Red Rocks at some interesting areas and they provided historical information. They took pictures of our group multiple times. Red Rocks was nothing short of breathtaking. They let us explore as much and long as we wanted. Next stop was lunch at a fantastic Mexican place called Morrison Inn in the quaint little town of Morrison. Our ride finished with a scenic route along Bear Creek. WOW!!! I have rented bikes, many times in California and Colorado and never had an experience quite like this. We were able to make this booking somewhat last minute due to some change in plans. There are many bike rental shops in Golden that are not open on Saturday, which is so strange, and also don’t have The fleet of bikes that Pedego has!

I was so impressed with his bike. I wanted to buy one after the ride. This shop is located perfectly between Red Rock Park and Bear Lake Park, which means the friendly staff are able to point you in the direction easily of so many places to ride.

They even had sunscreen and water to take with you!!

This will be my go-to rental shop moving forward.

Two hour rental for my 70th Birthday. Because of Cheyenne, it was an amazing, safe, and memorable experience! She engaged with us during instruction to make sure we really understood and then offered her time to let us follow her to the trailhead.
