I just had my first (and only appt) here. While the staff was so kind and it was a VERY clean and beautiful salon, my hair turned out terrible. I showed the hair dresser pictures of what I was hoping for - ombre with heavy blonde at the bottom. Her first attempt produced almost gray highlights up front, and then my solid brown hair. The non existent highlights she placed underneath were a brassy brown. She tried to redo the whole thing, but it still turned out awful. My hair is most entirely still brown, the blonde that is in place is brassy, and her re-attempt to lighten it made it look even less like the picture I provided....she even added rogue skinny highlights that start at my roots mid-head when I only wanted the bottom half of my head lightened. Because she had to double process me and use toner to attempt to lighten the brassyness, my hair was fragile. But despite this, she raked a comb through my hair with the toner on, which caused major breakage. SO VERY LET DOWN BY THIS EXPERIENCE. When you save up for a major hair transformation, and it leaves your hair damaged and nothing like you wanted, and your family remarks on how broken your hair looks (and that it would've been better off it's original brown) when you return, you can't help but regret the whole experience. Today was my first experience at Trans4mation Salon. I can not say enough AMAZING things about this place!! I met Robin randomly last week and she told me about the salon. I was able to get an appt very quickly and the receptionist scheduling the appt was the nicest lady! Brittany did a gorgeous job on my color! I had a pretty detailed idea of what I wanted and she nailed it perfectly! She took a lot of time explaining the process, talking about what I wanted, and made sure we were both on the same page, which is awesome. I felt 110% comfortable with her even though it was the first time I met her. I’ve used the same stylist for years so I was nervous, to be honest. Now - I would trust her 10000%!!!! I will definitely be a new regular customer and tell everyone how amazing the salon is. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, offering beverages and any way to make me feel more comfortable. First tried Transformation a few months ago and wasn’t sure how I felt about the salon.. hairdresser wasn’t very friendly but she did a good job on my hair. I decided to return for a second time. I am Extremely disappointed with my 2nd visit. I have highlighted hair which has grown out (dark roots). She suggested a partial highlight since my dark roots were pretty overgrown. She ensured my hair would be much lighter all over on top as I wanted. Unfortunately, I can barley notice a difference in my hair besides my roots area. My hair color is not a light blonde as I asked. For $130 I really would have liked what I asked for. In addition, The hairdresser didn’t ask how I would like it styled (as stylists usually do) and proceeded to put curls in my hair. I felt like someone from the 60s. She was caught up in other conversations rather than paying attention to my hair. Once arriving home I straightened it the way I liked it.
