V&A FURNITURE — Local services in Lancaster

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They were sweet as pie when we were picking our furniture out and paid $1100 cash for our bedroom set, even got a free pillow (sleeping on cement would have been more comfortable). Not too long of a wait for the delivery which was free, very nice. But when the husband got here with the furniture, the wife had order a California King bed frame, not a King. Husband was by himself and was pissed off. Called the wife and let her know of the error. She was happy to order the correct one, or order another one. Well, why order a different kind, we already had the dressers, etc. - 1 month later...still no replacement and no phone calls, nothing. My fiance talked to her and went in to the store before Christmas and she called the dealer right then and said we would have it on December 28th. My fiance said, um no, you have it to us before then or you can come and pick up the whole set and give us our money back. Christmas rolls around and we were still sleeping on our mattress on the floor - still. Made several phone calls and their voicemail picked up, as usual. Just today, December 30th, my fiance gets a phone call as he is headed to work and they say, "we're on the way". Are you kidding me?? No phone calls prior to this....at all? The husband and son deliver the bed, all with complete attitude, telling my fiance that they need to hurry up because they are waisting time and they have already been here twice. Excuse me??? You were here twice because of your wife's mistake, not ours. To top it off, after the bed frame was put together, the husband said, see ya later, we're done - left the mattress for us to put back on. We have a Sleep Number and my fiance had asked him to help with the tubes so they didn't kinked by the head board.

Needless to say, that man was lucky I wasn't here. I would stay clear of this place. They have no business ethic whatsoever, don't care about crap after they get your money. If I had it to do all over again, I would get my bedroom set from someone else who appreciated it, thought maybe a small business would appreciate the business but...

Called in an order for a bed. Victor was very helpful in understanding my needs as this bed was for my father-in-law. Also with proper verification, I didn't need to be present as I do not live in California.
