Exótico Nightclub — Restaurant in Lancaster

Looking for a fun and entertainment? Exotico has you covered. Upon arrival on Saturday evenings expect to pay a $15 cover charge pre person. One may think this maybe steep for Lancaster, but keep in mind on Saturdays you will have several drag queen performances. This is not a free show and performers need to be paid as they should be. You can however get on their guest list by signing up on website. Entry will be free before 10pm if you do so. Our Saturday night had 4 amazing drag performances. Please remember to tip your queens they work hard. That night there was also a special guest that performed, a up and coming new rap artist. She was also amazing. They have a fully stocked bar, and let me tell you their mix drinks are nothing to play with. Holy hell our go to bartender of choice (btw they are all great bartenders) was Edwin. The drinks run on average $10 but they are not weak and worth it. Buyers beware lol. If you want something more tame order a Pina colada, and stay away from the AMF. To soak up all your drinks they have tacos $2 each, quesadillas I believe $5, and hot dogs I believe $5 in the outdoor area. Plenty of seating inside and out. Along with 1 pool table outside. The club has been drama free all the times we have attended. You have a mix crowd of all. All are welcomed no matter what your into. They have security which are strapped, a nice feel just in case some psycho wants to start anything. The establishment looks to be well kept and clean, no trash or butt smell of sewer to be found. They have 2 bathrooms that always seemed to be fully stocked each time I had to release my toxic drinks. The dj played a variety of music. Music was at a perfect vol. Music quality was great, meaning all equipment sound as it was working properly, no blown out speakers or about to blow out sounds. They have a vip section/ bottle service. Bartender told use it runs $160, if that is something your into. The gogo dancer are friendly and entertaining. They will perform for all. You can also tip them if you want a better feel/view. Another bonus they had was gum to buy! Thank God! A pack runs $2 for orbit gum. Best buy of the night. I had major cotton mouth and the last thing I want is to be associating with people while having dragon's breath. The only Con I can give are the shot/jello shooters that one may find when a server/ cocktail waitress walks around with. They run $3 each, about a 1 oz. chemistry tube vile. Mine tasted like pure 7up. I bought 4 and my other party members said the same about their. I would not purchase again.

Recommendation (if allowed): not to sure if sold but I did not see any for sale are condoms. Yes maybe we should bring our own however one doesn't always get lucky and I don't want to carry a box of rubbers, when I have a phone, credit card, a wad of ones for tipping and the list goes on. Just a suggestion as other LGBT clubs I have been to had them. Some for free at that but I would not mind paying.

Overall, Exotico is our local go to. I would recommend to all friends. Even my straight friends! as long as one is open minded and comfortable step on into Exotico I guarantee you will have a great night. The vibes are always positive, friendly and welcoming. Fyi we always take ubers to and from, never had a issue not getting one. On average it cost us $12 each way for us.

Drove up to Lancaster to check this spot out … Especially because the owner is a dj who used to play in Bakersfield & when we can gotta show support to the Latinos leveling up. Just sharing my my first time there . -.- The place has a 15$ cover which in my opinion Isn’t too crazy. I get it we all gotta make a coin. But according to the signs I did read 10$ for re-entry? The Parking lot is directly in the back of the club which seems to be part of a shopping plaza . The parking lot isn’t well lit & that falls on the entire plaza but now that exótico opened :) the parking lot on the club side should sorta match the energy inside ? Could use more lighting and clean up. Once inside the club looks nice and the setup looks very modern and I would even compare it to those big popular clubs on a smaller scale of course . Especially the lighting on the dance floor is very well executed. The drinks are not overpriced and staff was attentive & over all the ambient is very welcoming . Music wise . Top tier . All types of Music with a special touch from owner/dj. . Outside they have a patio where they sell food and have a pool table and the patio looks very well kept. Restrooms are clean. Very private . One thing to note they don’t allow alcoholic drinks outside . I was geeked to be in a new spot and I failed to read the sign … security guard came up to us in a very serious tone . We couldn’t have them outside & there was a table by the door for us to leave them at. I apologized and explained it was my first time . Won’t happen again… as he leaves he comments something under his breathe . Earlier I just had finished ordering a drink and stepped to the side to wait for my party and apparently a rough 3 taps on the elbow and a mean mug is the way to move patrons out of his way. I figured it’s his job to be vigilant but when it came to the ladies he was all smiles and chuckles and his hospitality was top tier . I don’t need to u have conversation with me but hey don’t make feel unwelcome especially when your the authority of the night . Through out the night i noticed he was mean mugging at some and with others no. Which I’m sure he can care less … since I over heard him say these jobs are just temp till he gets a call back from where he actually wants to work. Drag show was great ! Best part ! Some say shows run long but hey an lgbt friendly spot isn’t true if they don’t have these amazing queens. Over all I’ll definitely be back. I recommend...
