Family Dollar — Local services in Lancaster

They have some really good deals here. At this location the staff isn't overly friendly (one time they charged me for 1 item twice but I didn't realize it until I was leaving the parking lot, and since it wasn't expensive- & the receipt machine was conveniently not working, I let it go), but overall they are competent enough. They sometimes have fundraisers where they sell candy bars in a competition with other stores in the chain. I was happy when they put a Family Dollar out here, since it was a store I liked going to every so often. They dont have many shopping carts at this spot and you can't take it out of the store, which makes buying a lot of stuff... difficult. You can get a soft throw for $5, name brand and generic medicine, makeup, towels, automotive products, home decor (curtains, including black out curtains, rugs, wall decorations like paintings or word art, candles, frames, shower curtains, Glade plug-ins, etc.) and cleaning products (from sponges and dish soap to Swiffer products; brooms; window, toilet, & counter spray bottles; floor cleaners & bleach), gardening supplies (flower pots, soil, seeds), clothing (underwear, shirts, pants, pajamas, bathing suits & footwear) for women, men, and children, holiday decorations, candy, energy drinks and soda, arts and crafts supplies (coloring books, crayons, markers, highlighters, pens/pencils, etc.), greeting cards, cigarettes, some really nice curtains and bath mats, and and I'll surely for items that are discounted- their "red tag" sale items. There are baby wipes (for a great price, too), and other baby supplies (diapers, toddler underwear diapers, bottles, pacifiers, etc.), pet supplies (grooming products, treats,...

Whoever is above management at this store needs to reconsider their employees and themselves need to be retrained, reprogrammed and their mind re-mapped to something other than being. Helicopter ing 🚁being thr stereo typical racist or just has a preconceived notion of black people stealing as soon as you walk in the door. So there are two in particular that are very guilty of this.. SHE'S just loud obnoxious inserting herself unnecessarily seems very insecure due to abusal of NO authority she tries to run with. And to add insult to injury, does not know what or where of any product are in her own store??? Seems like she's high or something all the time. I don't know she needs to get it together not knowing what or where the Febreze refill wet/dry cloths are is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE . Whoever is doing her buzz cut on her hair too close to us nerve and might be hitting the memory or recognition area of the brain that lets you know who what where am I part. you know I'm just saying And there's one one particular manager that works at night that only manages to make himself look like dumb fool after approaching with wrong inaccurate...

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS ONE!!! Absolutely the worst Family Dollar I’ve ever been to. Trashy employees and trash everywhere outside. Most noteworthy are the rude, unfriendly sales folks. One in particular is an absolutely rude, trashy, disgusting female cashier, possibly manager. She should not be in customer service! I didn’t get her name, but her demeanor, manners and customer service skills were extremely more deplorable than the store’s outward appearance.
