On 4/20/25, I had a really weird situation unfold with a Cake House employee. I ordered a lot of edibles, wax, and two ozs of flower. When I got my order and got into my car, I handed the bags to my wife and pulled out of the parking lot. By the time we got out of the parking lot, I noticed the two ozs of flower were not present at all, so I called Cake House and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager. He called me a liar and said he hand packed the order himself, so there was not a chance I didn’t get it and then proceeded to say that I could come in and review the camera footage to prove his claim. Bet. I turned my car around and whipped in that lot. By the time I got inside, the “manager” realized there was a full paper bag I wasn’t given with the two ozs that I had to have received… didn’t get an apology or acknowledgment that your employee was completely wrong and out of place, which was fine at the time. I can look past one mistake. Here comes the second, though. I order wax that has high THC content to help with the pain from my neck surgery. I ordered a gram of Sour Sherbear from Cake House at 83% THC content. When I get home and unbox my products, it is off by 18% in THC content! I know there can be plus or minus ten percent when tested, but to advertise something with that high of a discrepancy is not just immoral, it’s patently illegal and irresponsible....
Read moreI only had been in this place one time it’s very hard for me to go into stores and shop since I have children, but a friend of mine and I were able to stop in one time while I had some free time. The only thing I got were some gummy’s and a disposable, The information that the budtender gave me about the gummy’s was incorrect, but I let that pass. Fast-forward a month later I go to try my new disposable and find that it is defective. I know for a return I would have to go inside, so I called and was told I could bring it back, now I was just waiting for kid free time. I was on the southside and realized I have the disposable with me today!! I need to go return and I have no kids. WIN!! So I called to make sure that I could still return it. They informed me that they have a return policy and were not gonna be able to do the return. If they would’ve told me that over the phone the first time I called they told me I could, I probably would’ve gotten around to it sooner. I manage at a shop so as far as our shop, we take care of the customer. No matter what. I get the cake house doesn’t produce the product but they sold it, and cannot make it right. They lied to me about the discount and refused to look up the names of 3-4 people off the top of my head that got the discount off the shake as well. They told me without looking the names up that they got something different. Told me to return to the store for them to make it right . When I arrived it was more arguments. Over clearly what their add clearly states for new customers. I even told them and offered to show them where the price of shake has been the same since they opened so how could it be on discount. I wouldn't recommend shopping here at all. I do plan on contacting the state commission on their over charging me as well. Being a new dispensary they need to understand the law better and not over charge customers . Even after we returned to be credited back out money and was refused our money the GM even called me after I left trying to argue even more with me.
