Bourbon chicken lunch special + 2 egg rolls (no drink)

Some of the chicken was over cooked and dry. The entire dish was covered in a sweet syrup flavored sauce that was low quality. Reminded me of store brand pancake syrup.

Rice is a basic yellow (fried) rice. Pretty bland with what appears to be small pieces of onion and cabbage. I was unable to pickup any flavor other than the syrupy sauce which was off-putting.

Egg rolls are a very low grade, even for a hole in the wall Chinese place like this. Chewy, grainy and with an almost synthetic ginger flavor.

Dining area was cluttered with boxes and what appeared to be the staff's personal items. The first table was wobbly and all the tops appeared dirty.

When my order was ready the staff called me to pick it up instead of serving me. Not a big deal, just not what you'd expect. The tray my food was served on was also dirty with dried bits of food.

It's much better than people claim in their rumors or based on their location, (and likely racist). The food is always good, always extremely hot (cooked well above a safe temperature). I've never seen anyone get sick or have problems there. It's better than Ing, 5x better than Panda Express! The food is closer to Asia's Finest without the nicer dinning atmosphere.

Yes they do have some fresh herbs grown in 5 gallon buckets. I don't see a problem with that, if an expensive 5-Star French restaurant was growing fresh herbs/produce on site they would get praised. But this restaurant gets bad rumors just because of their culture and location. I feel that's wrong! Try it without bias!

Yes the name is corny, but it's not an excuse to make cultural jokes and biased rumors against them before trying the food. The location isn't great with a fancy atmosphere, I always eat out, and it's very good. Those are the true reasons why people leave bad reviews without ever actually...

I have ordered a few times from here recently and have loved the food. But today, I ordered a vegetable delight which stated it came with white rice. It came with pork fried rice. Now, I am a vegetarian, so this will not work for me. When I called, the woman I spoke with said this was not her fault and offered for me to bring it back and switch it out. I am at work and have it delivered. So I could not leave to switch this out. And I don't want pork touching my food. She kept saying it was not her fault. I wasn't blaming anyone, but did want the food that I ordered. And I never will get it.
