I work in retail. Started as a clerk and worked my way up to store management. I know the struggle of customer service. When I say this location never answers their phone, I literally mean they NEVER answer their phone. I get pizza here regularly. We have a family of 5, it's one of the few options that make sense when we are going to order out for an easy diner. In the past year, I have tried calling this location when I get out of work so I can stop by and pick up my pizza and then be on my way but no one answers to take my order. I have been in the building to order my pizza and I hear the phone ring and everyone acts like it isn't until it stops ringing. If they want everyone to use the mobile app then they should just completely remove the business number from Google and the website. I never even bothered to ask who the supervisor is because its such a small place that who ever it is already knows whats going on and doesn't just condone it but is a part of the problem. I had to explain to 3 people that when I learned there was no sauce cups for my 2 crazy combos that we'd change them to italian cheese breads. Got 1 instead of 2 and asked where my other one was. Was then charged for what I thought was another cheese bread but given 2 crazy breads. When I asked why, I was argued with about how there wasnt any sauce cups. Total breakdown in communication. Got an annoyed look when I had to ask if pizza could be put in a warmer while I waited. I feel bad that they're having such a bad day but there needs to be some serious work done with this team's communication. Barely any eye contact and not listening to the customers. The email for a pickup order - doesn’t describe that certain items are NOT in the “pizza portal”, nor do any of the staff have the common courtesy to say anything when you’re picking up an order… sending my husband to grab an order on his way home, thinking we are saving time turned into a waste of time.
I called the store to ask where my items were, only to be told “yeah you have to ask for those” - how would anyone know? There isn’t a sign, there isn’t a notice in the pickup email, and surely none of the staff are going to tell someone they’re missing food that’s already been paid for.
